"Um, hi Jackson." Seulgi said awkwardly."Do you guys perhaps know each other?" Youngji asked suspecting the awkwardness around the two.
"We were highschool classmates." Seulgi said looking away from Jackson who was still staring at her.
"You guys should go continue what were you were doing." Seulgi said.
"Yeah, it was nice meeting you." Youngji smiled at Seulgi.
"Yeah." Seulgi kindly smiled back as an act of kindness.
As she was going inside the house, there was still a pair of eyes staring at her. It was Jackson's.
"It was nice seeing you again." Seulgi said turning back around towards Jackson.
"Oh yeah." Jackson said blinking twice before he spoke a word.
Seulgi continued her day inside the house because one, she wanted to rest and missed the house and two, she didn't feel like facing Jackson again after that awkward moment.
Her phone rang as she laid on the bed, it was her friend and her only closest friend, Mijoo.
---------
*Couple of hours before*"Mijoo, honey, we are going to have guest over to eat dinner at 5:30 sharp and I would like you to join us especially since it would be about you. Anyways, dress very elegant and classy." Mijoo's mother said as she stood at the door.
"Oh, okay." Mijoo said as she sat up from her bed.
Her mother had a left and Mijoo wondered why she said it would be about her. Anyways she followed her mother's orders and dress elegant and classy.
She had wavy curls, a black hairband and wore a black, straight dress with jewels embedded on the sleeves and around collar. She thought the color black would be appropriate to this supposed important dinner meeting because it was classy, elegant and nothing could go wrong with the color black.
"Mijoo, come down. They could be here any moment." Mrs. Kim, the ajumma of the house told Mijoo.
"Oh, yes." Mijoo she adjusted the collar.
Mijoo walked downstairs all lady-like because she wore a dress and plus her mother would've nagged her if she walked unladylike.
"Oh, honey you look beautiful!" Mijoo's mother smiled.
"Oh, th--" Mijoo said as the doorbell just rang. Mijoo's mother ran to get the door.
"Thanks." Mijoo mumbled under her breath.
"Oh, Mr. and Mrs. Tuan! You made it and oh, my your son had grown up to a man." Mrs. Lee said with politeness.
"Tuans." Mijoo mumbled quietly. "Oh, shit that means Mark is here. Why the fuck would he be here?"
Mijoo thought of what her mother said earlier that it would be about her and knowing Mark, he wouldn't go into someone's house unless it was forced.
She thought hard until the thought of an arranged marriage had came to mind.
It can't be, never in her life, her father would think like this, but the Tuans owned the biggest company in the world and so did the Lees. It was for the money.
"This must be your lovely daughter. Mijoo, right?" Mrs. Tuan said causing Mijoo to look up from her stare at the floor.
"Yes, it is Mijoo." Mijoo said bowing and smiling at her's or her mother's guest.
"This is my son, Mark and I think you guys went to the same highschool together and were sort of an item." Mrs. Tuan said giggling a bit.
"Yeah, we kind of were." Mijoo said rubbing the back of her neck.
"So you two should know each other and that makes it easier." Mrs. Tuan said touching Mark's shoulder.
Mark and Mijoo gave both confused looks to each other, but Mijoo obviously knew what was happening.
