I stomped down the stairs when I was finally met with a smell I found familiar. Lasagna. It's my favorite meal but I knew what my mom was doing. She was trying to bribe me. I wouldn't take it.

I sat down at the table, my mom across from me. She stole some glances my way. I tried my best to not look at her.

"Luke, I know you're mad at me but seriously? The silent treatment? I'm your mother!" It took all of me to not shout back.

"Luke!" She yelled again I shot up and stared at her blankly.

"Luke!" This time she started to cry, I couldn't stand it. I grabbed my plate and ran up to my room, I locked the door and ate my dinner in peace as the sobs from my mother were drowning my ears.

'Ring!' Shouted the bell. My head was sore and my knees were weak, when I got out if my seat my legs nearly gave out. I carried my backpack out of the class looking down at the floor.

"Oh, erm, hey Luke" a familiar voice said to me. I looked up. Ashton.

"What do you want?" I asked sternly.

"Just to apolo-"

"Don't," I interrupted him. "W-what?" He asked.

"I'm done with your shit, Ashton!" I started to walk away but he stopped me. "Follow me," he pleaded.

"I don't trust you," I told him

"It'll be quick," he promised. I finally nodded and he pulled me into a dark spacious room. He pulled up his sleeve. I almost choked.

"Don't be scared!" He said as I lifted mine up. In the very moment our birthmarks lit up the room. I looked around, it was a abandoned gym.

"I don't see what you're getting at," I protested.

"Do you not see? We are destined to be!" He slightly shouted. I didn't know what to do. I looked down at my wrist and I ran out of the room.
