There was something wrong with Tyler. I was sure he was hiding something. He was acting strange these days. And I needed to know why he was hiding this to me. I had a few ideas but I just wanted to know if I was right all along.

I headed to the Weathervane at the end of the day. I knew Tyler must have finished his day of work so I waited outside of the café. I saw him leaving, closing the shop with his key. When he turned and saw me his eyes widened :

"Y/N ? What are you doing here ?"

"Tyler can we just talk a moment ? Or if you're busy it's okay, I just want to spend some time with you."

The boy gave me a cheeky grin before taking my hand and leading me to the nearest park. We sat on a bench and I spoke, not wanting to wait any longer :

"What are you hiding ? What are you not telling me ?"

Tyler blinked a few times and narrowed his eyes, like he was confused. He hesitated before speaking:

"I'm not-"

"No. No lies this time. I just want a clear answer."

I took a deep breath before continuing:

"You don't come to my house anymore, you don't answer my calls, you seem tired as hell and I caught you one time covered in blood and naked in the forest near Nevermore. So ? Care to explain ?"

"Y/N I-"

"Are you really the one who's killing people ? The thing with big eyes ? The Hyde-thing ?"

"How did you- What ?"

So I was right. He really is the one killing people without a reason. At least he could've warned me or just explain since when this was happening but anyway.

"Yes I am. But you need to understand that I can't control this beast and that I'm not going to hurt you or anything." Tyler finally answered, with a hesitant tone.

We made eye contact and I saw the pain shining in his orbs. I wasn't expecting my theory to be true but I was happy that he didn't deny it.

"Now could you explain me how ? Or most simply, could you explain me everything?" I asked, trying to all understand.

"Before that I need you to promise me one thing. Don't tell anyone. I know you won't but I don't want to hurt people more."

"Of course I won't ! I'm here for you, remember?"

Tyler gave me a kind smile before explaining everything. I listened to him the whole time, trying to think of what I could do to help him. It was a bit strange to see him so terrified by himself. Like he feared to do something wrong.

"So you're telling me that you already killed a bunch of random people without wanting to kill them ?"

"Yes and I don't know why this is happening to me or why I can't control that beast !"
