Gold Roger the king of the pirates had achieved it all. Wealth, fame, and power had all been his, so it was no surprise that his last words before they lopped off his head inspired adventurers throughout the world to sail the sea.

"My Treasure?! Why it is right where I left it! It's yours if you can find it! But you will have the search the entire world!" he had yelled before the blades came down.

Thus, the world was about to witness a great era of piracy.

9 years later in another dimension

The fourth shinobi war was winding down as the main enemies were defeated and now there were just the tiny skirmishes with the sound village to deal with.

A known Nara prodigy was fighting a sound shinobi when their Jutsu clashed creating a vortex that sucked the 7-year-old in and spat him out into a white void.

"Young one, you will change the fates of many. Good luck little shadow." A deep voice spoke reverberating around the void. Before the floor, the small Nara was standing on opened and he landed in front of a 5-year-old boy wearing a blue tank top with a white 56 on the front and blue jean shorts.

"Who are you? How did you do that?" the boy asked excitedly.

"Troublesome. My name is Nara Tamaki. I do not know. Who are you?" the Nara said with a lazy sigh and a sleepy look on his face.

Tamaki was a tall boy of 9 years old, like the rest of his clan has black hair and black eyes, and he was pale with a perpetually lazy look to him. He was slouching with his hands in his pockets. He had small nicks and scratches all over his body with three bleeding gashes on his face. One at his left temple and one almost parallel to it on his left cheek that stopped two inches from his eye and disappeared under his jaw. The third one went straight down his face on his right eye starting two inches above his eye and finishing at his jawline, he was lucky that the eye itself was undamaged.

Before the other boy could answer a green-haired woman came out of the building, they were in front calling for the other boy but stopped when she saw Tamaki.

"Luffy where – Oh My! Are you okay? Of course you're not, come in and we will get the town doctor to have a look at you." She had said not giving either boy a chance to speak.

As she led the boys into what Tamaki now knew to be a tavern, she introduced herself and the boy. "Hi, my name is Makino, and this is Luffy what's your name?" Tamaki sighed again with a muttered troublesome he introduced himself again.

During the time Tamaki was healing both he and Luffy became as close as brothers to the point that Luffy calls Tamaki Nii-San.
