Chapter 1: Akagami no Shanks and the Akagami Pirates

It was two years later when something interesting happened in the small harbour village. A pirate crew had made the village of Foosha their base in the East Blue.

Monkey D Luffy had become enamoured with the pirates more notably the captain named Akagami no Shanks. Despite all the time Luffy had spent with the Akagami pirates both in the party bar and out of it, Tamaki had yet to meet them but that was about to change.

The Akagami pirates and Luffy were in the party bar when the door swung open to reveal a 9-year-old boy with his black hair in a high ponytail making his head look vaguely like a pineapple he was wearing something similar to what he was wearing when he first arrived here which was black cargo pants which looked as if it were made of pockets, the right thigh was taped and a pack attached to it, this pack held all of his kunai while the pack at his hip held all his shuriken. He wore a fishnet armour shirt that went to his wrists and a black shirt that came to his elbows. His clan symbol is on the left shoulder. On top of this, he wore a dark grey fleck jacket that much like the cargo pants looked like they were made of pockets. In these pockets, he kept scrolls much like with the pockets on his cargo pants. This was not to say he only kept his weapons in the pouches at his hip and thigh as he had small throwing knives hidden in other places, he also had a katana strapped to his back.

As he came in the room got quiet and the pirates stared as Tamaki came in with a boar slung over his shoulders. Luffy was the first to react as he screamed "Tamaki!" and leapt at the poor boy only Shanks's quick actions stopped Luffy from connecting with Tamaki and toppling them and the boar.

"Tamaki your back! How was your hunt?" Makino asked while Tamaki put the boar down ready to be dressed later.

"Troublesome, I got a boar and a few rabbits," Tamaki said with a sigh while pulling a string of rabbits from where he had tied them to the handle of his katana.

Makino smiled at the 9-year-old before saying "you don't have to always go hunting you know" this was an old argument after Tamaki practically adopted Luffy as his brother he took over all Luffy's care as he felt as his brother he should do so.

"Troublesome, if I didn't, he would eat you out of house and home." Came the usual reply. Luffy then clung to Tamaki much like his name's sake a monkey and started to chatter away in his big brother's ear.

"Tamaki, this is Shanks, and he is a pirate captain isn't that so cool?!" Luffy yelled in Tamaki's poor ear leaving it ringing and Tamaki to grunt.

"Hi, so you are the little anchor's brother?" Shanks asked getting a nod from the lazy-looking boy.

"I'm going to be a pirate and you'll be my first mate," Luffy said to Tamaki making everyone look at him when Tamaki finally pride his brother off himself.

"Troublesome am I now?" Tamaki asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Um hum yes," Luffy said while nodding his head with a big D-shaped smile on his face. Making Tamaki sigh.
