A/n- sorry I haven't written in a while I have been really busy with softball and horses so enjoy this chapter 😏
I wake up at the crack of dawn the next morning. Chase has his arms wrapped around my waist, sound asleep. Good. I easily unwrap his arms and hop out of bed. I slip on a gray pair of baggy sweat pants and a white tank top. I walk down stairs into the kitchen and grab a Nature Valley granola bar, honey and oats, of course. I quickly eat it in a few bites then I head outside.
I shift in to my sleek black wolf and walk into the forest. I run to the lake then I hear voices. At first I thought it was a patrol but then I realise it's not its women's voices. I crouch down. As I see the women pass by, I recognise there faces. The leaders who attacked my pack. None other than, Katelyn and Taylor. I growl to my self.
"Remember the plan, Taylor?"
"Yes Katelyn, how could I forget."
"I will distract there mates, you get the wolfsbane and inject them both with the dart gun. got it?"
"Yes ma'm"
"Good the plan will take place tomorrow"
"Then chase and Clay will be ours"
At that point I crawled away. To mad to even think. I ran and ran and ran tearing anything in my range. My wolf took over. At one point I'm pretty sure I shredded a deer. I ran back to the pack house and I shifted back into my human self. I went upstairs and fell back asleep. To mad to say hi to anyone.
I didn't even realize how late slept until I realized it was the next day. Chase was once again around my waist and I just laid there. Wondering if this will be the last moment I ever spend with Chase. I go back to sleep and when I wake up chase is gone. I go down stairs to see a worried Cassandra and Cece and Sydney.
"What's wrong, Cassandra" I ask calmly.
"Clay, Clay" she sobbed
"He is gone and we can't find Chase either" Cece says quickly.
Just then I'm hit with reality. I fall to the floor and let my tears and sorrows take over. Then my wolf.
Taylor I'm out to get you and when I get you it isn't gonna be pretty.
