With her fingers tightly crossed, Marinette walked along the big schoolyard with Luka. There were several benches and table tennis tables, a staircase leading up into the building, and a few bushes and trees as decorations. Finally, they went up the stairs and into the building together. The hallway was full of students who were all looking for their classmates and looking for their classrooms. They laughed, talked and in general it was very busy. // So many new faces ...// thought Marinette. They had been together for three years now and each time she sighed loudly when they stood in front of his classroom because nothing could separate them except for the school. Reluctantly she let go of Luka's hand and then put her arms around his neck. Luka put his hands gently on her hips and pulled her closer to him. Marinette closed her eyes and the two lost each other in a rather intense kiss until the bell rang for the first time and this meant that all students should slowly go to their classrooms. Everyone began to say goodbye and slowly go their way in groups.

Marinette finally broke away from her boyfriend with a pout and gave him a short wave until she walked quickly toward her class. The door was still open so she took a short breath and then went inside. All of her classmates were already in their seats, which is why she simply sat in the last free seat so as not to attract too much attention. She looked around a little and her gaze fell on the person sitting next to her. He had blond hair and very bright green eyes which she lost herself for a short moment until he also looked into her sky blue eyes and smiled at her. His kind and a gentle voice rang in her ears. "I'm Adrien and what's your name?" He asked, holding out his hand, which Marinette took and shook lightly. "Um, Marinette ...", she simply replied, and before they could continue talking the teacher asked for silence. "Hello class, my name is Mademoiselle Bustier and I will be your class teacher for the next two years," she said in a very friendly manner and then looked around. // He seems very nice ... after all, that's a start, after all, we're sitting next to each other // thought Marinette to herself.

The students greeted her before Mademoiselle Bustier started calling everyone one by one. "Agreste?" They could be heard saying and Adrien raised his hand. "Here!" He shouted happily and then just looked around to see who is being called like this. "Dupain-Cheng?", Marinette heard after a while and then raised her arm as well. "Yes, here!" It took a little while until she called everyone up and meanwhile Marinette played on one of her hair strands and grinned at Adrien. "So the son of the best designer in Paris, huh?" She said, still grinning. He leaned his head on his hand and looked deep into her eyes while his grin grew bigger and bigger. "The daughter of the best baker in Paris, huh?" He simply replied and the two began to giggle. "Well, that I know you is understandable, but that you also know my parents?" Asked Marinette, giggling. "Yes of course you do, you make the best croissants," said Adrien and continued grinning while everyone concentrated on the lesson.

When it was about to ring, she looked at her cell phone and then gently nudged Adrien. "Hey, my friend and I always eat together during the break, maybe you would like to join us?", She asked the blond person sitting next to her, who immediately looked at her and nodded slightly. "If I can get my girlfriend to do this too?" He asked gently. Marinette giggled with him and then the doorbell rang. "The more the better, take your girlfriend with you." She said with a wink and then got up. Adrien followed her and so the two of them pushed their way down the long corridor, which was now full of schoolchildren again, who ran into the cafeteria in large numbers and hungry.
