You two caught each others glance across the bowling alley, You offered her a soft smile and she returned it with a shy one. That was how you had met the love of your life and for a long time things were really smooth.. Till one day you were at the same bowling alley to celebrate your anniversary and she was yelling at you in front of everyone because there had been some rumors about you cheating on her. They were far from true and she knew that, You also knew she was scared of the commitment you had wanted because just a week before the fight you had proposed moving in together.. She had agreed at the time, But you knew she got cold feet and she was trying to find a way out of it.. So she used the rumors to her advantage.

Everyone assumed you to be the horrible person who broke her heart and you took the blame the entire time. You took all the hate while she got the support because the one thing you promised was to never hurt her and despite keeping that promise you ended up being the one to get hurt. You struggled with it daily, But you managed to keep going while she blossomed and went into different movies and moved on with different guys here and there.

You watched when she was happy and you still supported her career from a distance anyway that you could because you believed in her..

Now?..

Two years later and you had finally moved on.. You were engaged and literally about to get married to the women you had been seeing for a year and a half. You had proposed 4 months ago she was quick to agree and wedding was almost rushed by her excited family.

You were in your dressing room looking into the mirror with a soft sigh, You had always wanted this moment, But you had wanted it with Vanessa..

It was to late for that.. She moved on and you needed to move on too.

You turn about to leave the dressing room to join the wedding area, but to your surprise.. There stands Vanessa in a gorgeous dress with an impish smile the door shut behind her while she admires how amazing you look all dressed up.

"I heard you were getting married.. I.. I know this is the worst timing possible.. But I never stopped loving you.. Or thinking about you.. I kept trying to come back, but there was always someone around me telling me it was a horrible idea.. I.. I told everyone the truth last year.. When I found out you were dating again.. Then you got engaged before I could come back from filming.. I didn't wanna crash your wedding I just.. I didn't wanna watch you get married to someone who wasn't meant for you.. She isn't the love Y/N.. We both know that and you knew it first because.. You knew you wanted me.. I was just to scared to admit it.. To scared to be hurt that I destroyed you and I can never apologize enough for what I did" She speaks its full of emotion and hurt and pleading.

You know you shouldn't.. Your future wife was waiting and yet? You had pinned her to the door and kissed her with the most amount of passion and pain you could EVER muster. She is quick to return it despite her obvious surprise. She had not expected it to go this way and honestly neither had you, but you had dreamt of her coming back to you and you refused to let that chance run away again.

"Marry me" You whisper against her lips and she giggles through her tears like you are crazy. "What?" She asks.

"Marry Me Vanessa. Now, Run away with me and get married" You repeat.

"Yes" She whispers with the utmost confidence you had ever heard.

You lift her bridal style and carry her out the back door and take off from your own wedding with no explanation. Instead you run off with the girl of your dreams and have a quick beautiful wedding two hours away at someone's farm house in the country side. 

For such a short notice wedding it was perfect even with nobody else being there.

Afterwards you two rented a honeymoon suit hotel room turned off your cell phones and recluse in the room away from the world for an entire week to make up for all the time you had lost without one another. It was different then you had expected, but everything you could have ever hoped for and more. You were finally back with the girl of your dreams and you wouldn't change it for the world even the odd way it had happened because you knew all along it was meant to be.
