"I wouldn't say I understand the point." I said, not looking away from his deep blue eyes.

They looked like the depths of the ocean, where the biggest monsters and who knows what else could be found. Thornbury had an ego the size of the sun, that's why he's staring back right now, that's why he's even talking to me. His ego outweighed his mindless bravado, but he had brains. He knew I couldn't do anything to him. It would be obvious.

A smirk crept onto his face, he looked like a clown but I didn't want to point it out. I don't need tears spilled right now.

"It's easy, really. You seduce him while I win the Quidditch match in May. If Slytherin is out by then, it will be easy for Gryffindor to win the Quidditch Cup this year." He assured me, trying hard, "You know you hate him AND you want him to lose, Crouch is a fool who's crazy about you. You don't even have to touch him, just keep him off the Quidditch field this year." He was practically begging.

"What will I get in return?"

"Crouch losing that smile and interest in you."

"Deal."
