Looking out the window has always been an unusually comforting activity. When you can watch the outside world so intently without people noticing you unless they pay attention.

Much to my dismay, there are no windows in the Hufflepuff common room, or dormitories, given that the place is underground. It makes me uncomfortable.

That's why I often sneak out to the higher floors, in the corridors there are windows overlooking the garden where students would often gather and do stupid things, some would just read, and some... suck each others faces.

It's actually sad.

How none of them are coming out of their little perfect world to look around and notice the horrors, war and riot. No one is trying to stop it.

Except for Albus.

Good old Albus.

Making an army out of students.

Order of the Phoenix,

They are called.

The old goat even gave them a name.

He sacrifices children for his glory, to maintain his name as the most powerful wizard.

"On top of the world again?" I heard his voice before his steps.

I smiled to myself, fortunately with my back to him.

"Only in my head." My answer comes quickly.

I hear his footsteps,

He is next to me, the smell of mint reaching my nostrils.

"You spend too much time there, Cel."

"Like you could tell me something about that, Reg."

Regulus Black. My cousin and also the only person whose existence is tolerable, mostly because we have the same goal and outlook on life. Talking to him is like talking to myself, except I can't be called crazy, only evil.

"You know," he began, now leaning against the window frame, looking out at the living world outside. "You made quite a scene yesterday at breakfast." He snorted, "I thought Crouch was going to run off crying after your little speech, but the madman wouldn't stop talking about how you finally bothered to read his letter first before setting it on fire." He sighed before looking back at me, "See these dark circles?"

"Yes, they've been around since the day Wallburger kicked you out of herself." I replied, not taking my eyes off his gray pools filled with emotion. My cousin is anything but heartless, he is the most delightful and purest creature you will ever meet, and if you are not daunted by the rough exterior, you may get to know him well enough to agree with me.
