It was already 10 AM and Tubbo was still sleeping. "Is he dead?" Tommy asked seriously. "No of course not you idiot." Dream replied. "He was just tired, that's not a crime you know." "Well could we wake him up?" Tommy asked while grabbing his water bucket, ready to attack. "No lets n-" Tommy dumped the whole bucket off water on Tubbo without hesitation. "AAH TOMMY WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!!! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT? No, now the bed is wet, you know it doesn't dry easily." He said annoyed and angry. "Tommy I just said don't do it, apologise to Tubbo, now!" Dream demanded. "Okey sorry Tubbo, I could've woken you up normally. But is was funnier though." "Yeah I guess it was kinda funny." Tubbo said giggling. "Please just don't do it again okay? Or at least do it on Dream. Let me sleep" Tubbo said. "Hey! That's not fair!" Dream said jokingly. "Yeah Tubbo, dream is my buddy, I can't do that to him. Then I wouldn't be a good friend, would I?" Tommy said laughing. Of course he didn't mean that. Tubbo was his friend too. That did hurt him a lot though, he had never heard tommy say such a thing. He knew it was a joke but he also knew he wasn't fully joking. He didn't have to much time to be sad though, because just a second later they all had to get up and get mining. Or at least, Tommy and Dream were going mining. Tubbo was in charge of collecting food and making a little farm today. Good. Tubbo liked working in the garden. That way he didn't have to think about what was going on between him and his best friend. It also kinda reminded him of the 'old Tommy' since he had his potato farm in his underground base. When the two of them left to go mining he was first going to get some food and then come back to think about what he was going to farm. While he was busy with hunting, something kept bothering him but he didn't knew what. It was almost like he was missing something in this whole story line. He was skipping over this one detail that could change everything. If only he knew what that was. That would make it so much easier. After collecting food he went back to their base. He knew what he had to do. He was determined to find out the truth about what was going on, and he was going to start that right now... But how though? Tommy was away with Dream so he couldn't ask him yet. He couldn't ask anyone else because well... No one was there. Then it hit him. "NO ONE IS HERE!" He screamed. "That's not possible! If no one is here then were are they? And why haven't Tommy or Dream said anything about it?" He had to much questions so he decided to make some books to write everything down. He made a small base around 20 blocks underground where he could go at night or when the rest was gone just to focus on this mystery. There had to be some explanation right? But before he could do that he first had to make the farm to get some more food. There still were three of them. The rest needed food too. So he wrote everything down, put the book in his chest and made a small little farm right next to their base, went to the river close by to get water for the farm. When he was about to plant the seeds he stopped. "Wait this is stupid. Why would I make a farm to then just break it off and make it somewhere else?" That sounded really stupid to him. So he took all of his stuff and went to the place where they had placed the bench and made the farm right next to the river and the mountain that was a bit further away. This was a bit risky because they didn't even decide where they were going to live. It was almost noon and he expected Tommy and Dream to come back, so he waited at their base to tell them about the farm and if it was okay if they'd live there. But they didn't come. "Are they going to have lunch in a freaking cave? That's new. Well I guess it's not to bad. Now I have time to start my research." He had lunch on the bench and then went back to his little farm to make his underground base for a little lab of something like that. He just made a 7 by 7 cube and decorated it a bit so that it wouldn't look like some emo base. After that he just made a lot of books and got all the supplies that he needed. But why hasn't he heard anything of Tommy and Dream? "Maybe I could go and take a look, because I really have some questions for Tommy. I don't want to ask it but I just have to." So he put on his armour and went to the first cave he saw because that was probably where Tommy and Dream were. Big mistake... The moment he walked into that cave he fell into a ravine. Good god he had a water bucket otherwise he would've died already. He took a torch trying to see what was going on around him. "Well I hope Tommy and Dream fell in this thing, otherwise there is no way that I'm going to get help. Shit, I'm all alone. No one is going to know I'm here. Not like they'd care. Again I'm just the sidekick in this story." He had to get out of here, but how?... There was no way anyone was going to hear him so yelling wasn't an option, just mining blocks and build up I guess. Before he could take his pick ax he got attack by what looked like a hundred mobs. "Oh ow, not so good." He started building up with the few blocks he had but he quickly ran out, and if things couldn't get worse, a skeleton shot him off the tower. Good, now he was on two hearts. The only thing he could think of was building himself in. I know, it's the most basic thing for beginners to do but hey, he didn't have anything. Not even a friend to save him. After he healed a bit he fought the mobs one by one. When they were all dead he placed some torches all over the place so that they wouldn't just spawn again. He started mining thinking he had nothing else to do. "Well now I'm down here I could at least get some iron or maybe diamonds or something. He was just mining peacefully, thinking about the conversation he was going to have with Tommy in the evening. He wasn't looking forward to it. "Just imagine what would happend if he didn't remember. 'We' wouldn't ever exist to him." The thought of living without Tommy by his side really hurts, it just wouldn't be the same. Even if he did remember, just the fact that he pretended nothing ever happend was weird. But where were Tommy and Dream? Well they were in a cave on the other side of the river. Just peacefully mining and chatting. "So what do you like to do in your free time?" Tommy asked. "Oh just being close to nature and listening to music or something. You?" "Well I like running around with friends doing illegal stuff or just over all breaking rules and a lot of dr*gs. That seems fun to me." "A real trouble child huh?" "Yeah that's my way of relaxing, I thought I had a friend to do those things with. But I don't remember it clear enough." Tommy said. "Do you remember their name?" "No... That's the problem. All I remember is that there was a time when I had someone like that." "Well that sucks." Dream replied. "Where is Tubbo? I haven't heard a single thing of him the whole day. Is he alright?" Dream said, getting a bit worried. "Wasn't he making a farm or something?" "Yeah that was it." But little did they know Tubbo was stil stuck inside a god damn ravine. After mining for about an hour he got enough diamonds and iron for a wile so he decided to build up again. Ones he was on the grass again he ran to his little lab and grabbed some books, then he sat on the bench to write down the questions he had just thought of wile mining. Now all he had to do was wait. That sounded like a waste of time to him. "There has to be something I can do, right?" Oh he knew something he could do. So he took another book and sat on the bench looking at the river. He closed his eyes and begin thinking. Trying to remember every detail of what happend before he was in this new universe. All the memories of him and Tommy came flooding back. He opened his eyes again and started writing. From the beginning to the end. It was kinda hard to remember it all because he didn't even know for sure if it all even happened. When he wasn't sure, he didn't write it down. After he was done writing the story's of him and Tommy, he took a different book and begin writing the most important part of this project. After a good 2 hours of writing he saw Tommy and Dream coming back with a big smile on their faces. Tubbo quickly hides the books and goes up to them looking all happy. It was fake of course, he was super jealous and angry that he got left out by his own best friend but whatever. "What are you doing here? Why aren't you at the base?" Tommy asked. "Well I was just relaxing. Is there a problem with that?" Tubbo answered. "No not at all, I was going to show this place to Dream so that we could maybe come and live here." "Yeah well I think it's a lovely place, we'll live here." Dream said happily. They all agreed and went back to their old base to get all their stuff and move here. "I'll stay here and make a little house okay? You two can go and get all the stuff." Tommy said. They both knew he was just to lazy to walk al the way back and get his stuff, but they were fine with it. When they were walking back there was silence. No one said a word. "Hey Tubbo is everything okey?" Dream asked, breaking the silence. "You've been acting strange." "Yeah everything is fine. I'm just not feeling well." Tubbo said. "Oh well just know if you ever want to talk, I'm right here okey?" "Yeah thx." They got to the base and packed all their stuff then just immediately went back to Tommy so that they could have dinner. They had dinner together and talked about their days and about Tubbo falling into the ravine because he thought they were there. They had a good laugh about it and then went on to tell their ideas for the future and what they wanted to do and build. Around 9 pm Dream already went to bed. Tubbo was more than happy. Not because Dream was going away, but now he could talk to Tommy. Alone. He asked tommy if he could come and sit on the bench with him. They sat down and Tubbo just started the conversation with a simple "how are you?" You know. The classic one. "Good, but how about you?" "Yeah I'm fine I guess. But that's not what I wanted to talk about." He said grabbing the book from his inventory. "See I found this book. It's about heroes, villains, and things in between." "Like gods?" Tommy interrupted. "Yeah, like gods..." "Oh cool, who's in that book? I'm gonna be in it one day, you'll see." Tommy said, trying to sound badass. "Yeah yeah, I'm not questioning that. But lest start with the once that are already in there, okay?" "Yeah yeah cool." "Alright, if you know them or have heard of them before please tell me." "Euh okay?" "Have you heard about the betrayal of Eret. Have you heard that name before?" "No... How old do you think I am? It sounds like he's from 1832." "Okay okay but hear the stort. So Eret was a traitor who betrayed his nation and led it to explosion. He did that by winning everyone's trust and then betray them all by leading them into a room under the ground during a war and killed them all so that he got gifted the royal title from the guy he worked with. Since that moment he was known as king Eret and became the king of a land by betraying another." "Damn he's smart. Ill become a king too. I'll just need two nations, a war and a kingdom to rule." "Haha very funny Tommy. Anyway, before he pushed the button that made the explosion happen he said something that would be remembered even years later. The phrase 'It was never meant to be...' That phrase made him really popular." "hey that's strange, I've heard that phrase before. But I don't know where. What the fuck." "Hey maybe in a story your parents told you when you were a kid. But there's more." "Okey go ahead and tell me." Tommy said a bit bored. "Okey so the next one in the book is..." He stoped. "Tubbo?" He read. "How is this possible? I didn't put my name in this book." He thought. "Hey that's you name! Hahahaha. Are you named after a dead person?" Tommy said laughing. "Well yeah I guess so, lets just start reading okey. So Tubbo was a part of the nation that got blown up by Eret. The nation was called L'manberg. After L' manberg was gone and blown up for the second time, Tubbo went to a place far away where it was always cold and there was always snow. He and his friend started a nation there. They called it Snowchester. Tubbo was mostly know for the invention of the nuke, a big bomb that could destroy a whole kingdom at once. They build big ones, small once and one that could sent the whole world into explosion. The nukes were safe and secured, or so were most of them. The biggest nuke they have ever made is still not found. The dangers of it are still unknown." "Damn that dude was dangerous and stupid, almost like a psychopath. Who would make such a thing? Your parents really wanted you named after a villain?" "Well maybe he was not a psychopath, just a talented boy. You never know." "Yeah but a normal guy wouldn't make a nuke that can literally kill everyone." "Okay okay enough about Tubbo there are still a lot more." "Hey is my name in that book? Was I like a hero who saved everyone from Tubbo and his dangerous weapons?" Tommy said laughing. "No it's not but if it was I think you would be some loser who just wanted to be a big man." Tubbo said jokingly. "Oh shut up and read the damn book already." "Yeah yeah sorry. Oh yeah by the way, if I read something wrong. I'm dyslectic." "Oh wel okay." Tubbo just went on with all the stories but sadly Tommy didn't know anyone. But then they came to the last two stories... "Okey tommy now we have come to the real legends." "Oh yeah? How many are left?" "Oh just two but these are the real guys." "Okey, tell me." "So the first one is Technoblade, does that say you anything?" "Euh I don't really know." Tommy said confused. Ouch, that one hit hard. He didn't remember Techno? Maybe if he hears the story. "Ow okay euhm, so Technoblade was a literal legend. No one was stronger and no one was better at pvp or just fighting in general. He was also known as the blood god. When he was on your side you won no matter what. When you got on his bad side you were dead. He lived at in a house with his dad far away from everyone, he had a lot of dogs and a horse carl. You better not touch them or he will come after you and I can guarantee you, he will find you and hunt you down. Technoblade was probably the most dangerous and most feared person of all times, but that didn't mean he couldn't be friendly. He was the most loyal person ever and would do anything to protect the ones he loved. Once you got to know him and spend some time with him you will realise that all that scary stuff is all just to protect himself and the ones he loved. He's not that bad, no one is. Everyone has their soft sides, even if they seem to be pure evil." "Wow... Didn't saw that coming. But I have heard that story before. Or no not the story but I have heard the name before. Is that normal?" "Yeah it is. He's a called legend for a reasons." "Yeah I guess so. Who's next?" "Okay so this one will be the last one." "Euh okay?" "Good so this is the story of Wilbur Soot. Have you heard that name before?" "Yeah... I have actually. But where?" "How would I know. Anyway, so Wilbur Soot was the most popular traitor and the smartest person ever. Not only was he able to win everyone's trust in no time, but he also found a way to always get what he wanted and if he didn't, well you'll find out what he'd do then. Well to be completely honest, he didn't win everyone's trust but he had enough people on his side so he didn't care. He was also the one who made L'manberg and later on destroyed it after h-" "Why would he blow up his own nation?" Tommy interrupted. "Well that's a weird story. So L'manberg was a nation originally ruled by Wilbur Soot but after some time and some war someone named Jschlat wanted to rule L'manberg and make it Manberg, Wilbur didn't want that to happend but somehow Jschlat got elected as president and exiled Tommy and Wilbur from Manberg. They couldn't let that happened so they made a nation far from Manberg, under the ground an called it Pogtopia. They soon had a lot of members in Pogtopia and they even had the blade also known as Technoblade. S-" "So they were going to win? Because you said who ever had Techno on his side was going to win no matter what." "Yeah just let me talk okay. So as I was saying, there was now a war: Manberg vs Pogtopia. During that war Jschlat died because of a heart attack, or that's what people say. Around the end of the war Wilbur went to his little room with a lot of signs on the wall and in the middle was a small wooden button. That would end up destroying everything. He sat there in that room ready to press the button and end it all, but then he heard a voice behind him. It was Phil, he had followed him. What are you doing? He asked. Knowing damn well what was going on, Wilbur don't do it. He said. You know Phil... There was a saying, by a traitor. Once part of L'manberg. Wilbur waited for a second before he said the well known phrase: It was never meant to be. Wilbur pressed the button. L'Manberg was gone. After the explosion Wilbur took his sword and gave it to Phil. Kill me Phill, he said. Kill me... Philza couldn't do it, not to his own son. He had no choice. Either he killed him or Wilbur would kill himself. He watched his son die in his arms, with a sharp sword right through his body. They had lost. L'Manberg was gone and so was Wilbur." "Damn that's a lot, but I have this weird feeling about him like-" "like you know him?" Tubbo interrupted. "Yeah how do you know?" "Because there is this little detail that I haven't told you..." "Yeah? What is it?" Tommy asked curious. "Okey so he had two brothers. One of them was Techno and-" "That explains a lot." Tommy said giggling. "Yeah it does but anyway so his other brother was Tommy, Wilbur and Tommy were super close. They were there for each other and Tommy was crushed when L'Manberg blew up. It was a nation they had made together. All the wars and shit they went trough. They went trough it together. Maybe, and i say maybe, it could be because you have some connection trough different universes." "That's bullshit." Tommy said. "Hey you never know. How else would you explain the weird feeling huh." "Yeah imagine how cool it would be. Me having a connection with legends. Haha cool" "Yeah cool..." little did Tommy know how it actually was. But that wasn't important, Tubbo now knew the truth. Tommy didn't remember... He felt defeated. He lost his best friend and there was no way to get him back, he didn't remember and he had no proof. Everyone was gone... "Tubbo are you alright?" Tubbo snapped out of his thoughts. "Yeah I'm fine, just tired. I'm going to bed." "Yeah me too." They went to bed and Tommy fell asleep the moment he jumped in bed. Tubbo on the other hand, he quietly went outside and into his little lab. He began thinking. "How? How is this happening? There has to be an explanation and I'm going to find it. But not today. I need some sleep and rest, I'll do it tomorrow when everyone is gone." He knew it was pointless, especially in the middle of the night, so he went back to bed. Feeling weird and sad about the thought of loosing Tommy, because of Dream...
