Sam helped Destiny open the door of her hotel room and turned on the light for her. "Do you need some help?" he asked as he watched her walk into the room.
"I think I can handle it," Destiny said as she walked over towards her back and took out some clothes. "Thanks for helping me earlier," she said as she opened the bathroom door and set her clothes on the back of the toilet. "I'm going to wash up, but after I get cleaned up, we can get a bite to eat or something," she said.
Sam handed her a towel. "Yeah, no problem and sure we can grab something to eat, or I text Dean to pick-up some food as well."
"Sounds good to me," Destiny said as she turned the tub on and shut the bathroom door behind her and stripped out of her clothes.
Sam sat down on the bed and felt a knife poke him and he picked it up and put it on the table. It had been a few years since Sam last saw Destiny. He remembered when his dad first introduced them to Destiny when he was about seventeen and she was around fifteen. She was very pretty with her olive complexion and bouncy curly hair, but she had the mouth of a sailor on her. John had found her on the streets and helped her locate her parents' friend Luke Towers to raise her because her parents had died.
Destiny sat in the tub and sank into the tub to relax and suddenly she felt her eyes close shut and passed out knocking over a bottle of shampoo in the process.
CLANK!
"Destiny?" Sam called.
No response.
"Des?"
No answer.
Sam opened the bathroom door to find Destiny passed out in the bathtub. "Destiny....wake up." He patted her on the cheek softly and Destiny coughed up water and Sam hugged her. "You okay?" He asked.
"Yeah," she said as she grabbed a towel. "I guess I passed out. Mind giving me a minute to dry off?"
"Yeah," Sam replied as he helped her out or the tub and let her have her privacy to change clothes. Once she exited the bathroom and brushed her hair and laid on top of the bed. "I feel like I just got my ass handed to me," she said.
Sam couldn't help but laugh. "No shit you got your ass handed to you tonight," he said. "You're lucky it wasn't worse. Just promise me something just don't go after whatever attacked you."
Destiny looked up at Sam. "Don't tell me what to do," she said sternly. "I can handle myself."
"Calm down," Sam said as he walked over towards her and sat down on the bed. "I know you can handle yourself, but you are hurt at the moment and need to at least rest a day."
Destiny sighed as she looked over at Sam. "You're right," she said as she ran her hand through her hair. "Sorry if I sound like a bitch. It's been a long day."
"Hey, it'll be okay." Sam walked over towards the bed and sat down beside her. "It's good to see you again despite the circumstances."
Destiny turned her head towards Sam and smiled. "It's good to see you too," she said softly as she hugged him. "We can talk more after I get some rest."
"Of course," Sam replied. "You got my number, and we can all meet up after you get some rest."
