Chapter 4: Wild Ride

Destiny woke up and ran her fingers through her hair and groaned in pain from her shoulder. She got up out of bed and looked in the mirror as she took off her shirt and changed the bandage and noticed it was healing nicely. She grabbed a clean black tank top, socks, and pants and put them on and slipped on her boots. She heard her phone ding and tucked it in her pocket.
She grabbed her pistol and tucked it into her holster and put her knife inside her boot and attached her machete into its holster and grabbed her bag and slung it over her shoulder and walked out of the room until she ran right smack into Sam.
"We gotta stop meeting like this," Destiny said as she caught her balance and Sam gave her a hand to help her up.
"Yeah, we do, but you in a hurry to get out of here?" Sam asked as he looked at her.
"I was actually going to go to the washateria to wash some stuff...."
"Cut the crap," Sam said as he picked up her bag. "You're leaving town, aren't you?"
"No, I was actually going to ask if I could tag along with you and your brother," she said. "If you don't mind, can we all talk someplace else?"
Sam nodded his head and motioned for Destiny to follow him.
When Sam entered the room with Destiny, Dean looked up at them. "What's going on?"
"I was going to ask you if it's okay for Destiny to tag along with us in case that vampire picked up on her scent," Sam explained.
"Sure, she can."
"Thanks," Destiny replied as she looked at Sam and Dean and set her stuff down. "Don't know about y'all, but anyone hungry?"
"Yeah, starving," Dean replied as he grabbed his leather jacket.
"How are you feeling anyway, Des?" Sam asked as he looked at her.
"Hungry and sore, but other then what happened last night I'll survive," she said as she looked at Sam. "You did a pretty good job patching me up. It's healing up nicely."
"Yeah...leave it to Sammy to play doctor....What the hell?" Dean asked as he rubbed his arm when Sam punched him.
"All right you two knock it off and let's go to a diner to grab some food," Destiny replied as she started to head out the door.
