In Which The Forest Beholds

Sandwiches and Tea.

"Hey, I'm back! Here, have some sandwiches and tea, please enjoy them!" Kylo says, energetically.

"Oh, uh... thanks." Mayla takes the plate, and looks down at it. "Hey, uhm-". Kylo looks at her watch almost immediately, looking at the time.

"I'm dearly sorry Mayla, but I have a meeting to get to, I'm almost late! We'll talk in a bit~!". "Uh, alright. Bye?"Kylo flies away at a fast pace. Mayla sits in the bed, still a bit drowsy.

She eventually decides that she's sick of sitting around in 'her bed' all day, so she decides to roam around the mansion, taking her tea and sandwiches with her, feeling an aching feeling in her stomach.

Mayla somehow finds the kitchen. The walls are again, filled with golden lining and vibrant colors. There are multiple tables, and many chairs. But, she also sees someone else sitting against the big counters leading to the kitchen.

Just thinking about it, she really needs someone to show her around the place, because she could barely find the kitchen without getting lost. "Uh... h-hi? Sir?" She calls out, nervously.

"Oh, sup. Need anything? We're a bit busy right now, so the other chefs are in the back, but I can get you something if you need it." The man says, a bit sternly.

"No, I'm good. But, if I may ask, is there anybody who can give me a tour around here? I'd uh, prefer not to get lost constantly."

"Yeah. Dont worry, I got it. I'll call the twins over, I guess.

"Thanks."

They sit in long silence for a while, until something is said again.

"It'll take them a bit to get here, considering they have another duty to attend to right now. So, what's your name? I haven't seen you around."

"I'm Mayla, I'm pretty sure I just got here today. Yours?"

"Alright, I'm Eddie. I'm the head chef, and the others in the back are Connie, and Lyn is visiting for a bit. You'll get to meet them another time."

There's not really anything else to be said, so Mayla just nods her head and continues to wait for the twins.

The twins arrive around 10 minutes later.

"Ooo, hiii!! Who are you? Why were we called? Aaaaa, I'm so excited!!" Says one of them.

"Woah, she looks so pretty! Where did master find this one?" The other one talks.

They clearly see Mayla is a bit uncomfortable, so they take a step back, but their grins don't cease to show their excitement.

"Uhm, can we get going please? I'd prefer to get it over with now, considering this place is so huge."

"Ah, okay! Let's go, Dimitrescue!!"

"So..." Mayla says, while sipping on her tea and walking towards the library. "I have a few questions, but first, what are your names?"

"Oooo, well, I'm Dimitrescu!"

"And I'm Anastasia!! Nice to meet you." She says with a big smile.

"Well, nice to meet you too. I'm Mayla. So, where are we off to next?"

"Well, the closest place right now is the library, so that's where were going!"

"Ah, okay."

They stay silent for a while, until they finally end up reaching the library.

"Hey, you two, can I ask a bit more.. questions?"

"Of course!" They both say, in sync.

"Uhm, so, do you guys know why I'm alive, or why Kylo brought me here instead of leaving me to die?"

"You mean master? No, we don't know, sorry dear. You'll just need to ask master about that."

"...Oookay."

Maybe the only way to get Kylo to tell her is to use a bit of.. force.
