the girl was now in the middle of air. Neville and luna standing in opposite ends of the hall came running. there was a 5-foot-tall cake for the cake cutting , and that's exactly where the girl would be falling.Angelina closed her eyes confused if this was a dream.everyone were too scared to ruin the cake.

Luna and Neville at the ends of the hall were to the rescue. Neville being a Gryffindor ran towards the cake trying to calculate the time she falls to the ground and the movement he will reach the place if he runs at the speed he was running. But his mind just couldn't process the calculations as it wasn't herbology related, so, he just ran as fast as he could but just the next movement it slipped out of the hands.

.Luna being a intelligent Ravenclaw also wasnt afrid if she gets scolded for ruining the cake unlike neville she calculated the shortest path to reach the spot(she took the cake as the spot).then she pulled her bright yellow dress high so that she could run. on her way she took the pillow which was oddly laying in her way.she had a plan that she could catch the girl safly without causing her any kind of injuries

suprisingly Luna could run fast enough.she and neville were almost equal disstace from the oppsite sides of the huge cake.as neville ran in the large hall he seen that his grandma and mother on the second floor were staring towards him.he saw his cousin sister's tears from down ,he wasnt going to let her sister cry sadly.at the same time Luna didnt even know who the girl was but she could understand that it was one of the longbouttums.she seen hundreds of mouths wide open as she runned raising her yellow dress.one small gurl who looked like she was 10 years opened her mouth wide,she closed if only when an fly tried to enter her mouth

it was just a little distance they have to run now.if they slowed down now then the girl may fall down and you know whats going to happen..keeping it in mind they didnt give up even if their feets were cramping.neville's unconfortable expensive shoe he up was hurting his ankle but he wasnt going to let his sister down after all who will he play with if she wasnt going to survive.

After one voice followed by others, by this point of time more than half of the people in the house started cheering them.

Neville was definitely ok to say goodbye to the cake and spoil his birthday just for saving him neice, afterall the only person who mighy scold him soo much would be his grandmother but he is already used to it.
Luna on the other hand was just an another invited guest but the little grifindorness in her seem yo be activated and she at the point didnt even bothered a lil bit of the cake.
Both of them cound only see that the neice will be falling on the cake and they had to catch her carefully even if the cake would be smashed. But they didnt know that they both were to the rescue and were running on oppsite sides. Infact neville and luna both were absolutely confused, neville didn't get to point why others are shouting luna's name also. Luna was proud to hear the cheers but was also in a confused stage like neville about why the hell neville's name is also being mentioned.
They had very less time to think about it infact they had NO time to think about it.

Neville could feel a lot of heaveness in his hands. He couldn't Belive that his neice weighed more than an adult human being. More like one - one and half human being if needed in an more clear amount. Even with his eyes closed he was pretty sure it wasn't his neice as he had never ever had smelled such an good fragrance coming from her. It was like sandle wood 's smell which neville loved.
Who could it be ?
He soon opened his eyes and saw a yellow dress on top of him.
It wasnt his neice who was soo tall and wore a beautiful yellow dress of an adult's size.!
It was the time the cake's top layer smashed already luna could feel the mositue in the cake and the vellila strawberry flaver in it as she was ON IT. Literally luna thought she had already spoiled neville's bithday but most of her attention was towards the heavy small-human who she was holding in her soft hands right now.
before opening her eyes she could feel a pare of baby sofy hands covered with some cake, one of the hands holding her waist tightly the other one on the sholders.
She opened her eyes the next movement to see a cute lil girl with blue eyes and dark black hair giggling.
"Moommy!!! It was an awsome ride can i go again? She also saved me!!! She is awsome too.mommy mommy i wana do this ride again!!" the girl told in the cute voice.
Luna the after a few seconds of realising that her efforts were not to waste, turned her head only to see the horrible caous she had caused. The cake had now been smashed and some of its parts looked like overcooked smashed potatoes. Then she turned her head as much as she could.
She saw NEVILLE LONGBOTTOM!!!!
It was less obvious for the others that they will collide BUT NOT OBVIOUS FOR BOTH OF THEM.
