It was nearing Christmas and holidays were going to start... Usually in normal holidays the hogwards staff stay in the school but this time few of the staffs got leave for a week though they didnt provide holiday for the whole Christmas vacation, that was the bare minimum they could provide
Luna and neville were wondering how to spend their holidays,
After half a hour or so of discussion they came to a conclusion that they could go on a trip for 5 days and remaining 2 days they could stay in their house doing some activities.
"sooo, where should we visit?"
Luna questioned neville
"hmmm, even i am not sure about it darling"
Neville answered luna
"i heard that they are opening a new complex in hogsmede.. In the complex there are guest house which can be rented, if you are ok with it we can rent one amd stay there. Seems that the complex contains of many other places like hospital and shopping centres hence it would be a great place to hangout."
" ohh then i think it's a great option to stay th-" luna was talking but here words were cut by neville
" and yea, i totally forgot to tell that there is an amusement part opposite to the complex " neville said
" ok then we can go there, it sound exciting" luna replied neville who cut her sentence a few seconds ago just to revile the most exciting part, that was about the amusement park.. Luna was curious to know what rides the amusement park consisted of..
It was about 3 hours after their conversation, after the discussion they went back to their works..
Luna suddenly csme upto neville and said
"hey i booked the tickets for the guest house, there was only 1 left and we were lucky enough to book that"
"ohh yea, and about the amusement park thingy it seems that we must go there and book the ticket"..
"Okya then i will start packing my things " luna said
"I am already into that work, you should better hurry"
Neville told, after he ended he reminded her that she must pack sweaters and jacket cuz it might snow outside.
After about 5 hourse of them asking eachother if they have seen their belongings and finally figuring out if everything is packed or something is missing they finally finished their packing.
With a long sigh of relief neville said "okya everything is packed and we will be leving our house within 1 hour and we have to go through a 2 hours travel to reach our destination," said neville
"meanwhile in the one hour pls cross check if you missed out anything" said luna
The one hour passed very quickly,
They were now on their way to Hogsmeade, they took a wizarding bus.
As the bus was in motion the air came gushing through the window. It was indeed like a good fan, Neville was liking the comfy atmosphere so much that he managed to fall asleep on luna's shoulder.
Luna couldn't avoid but take glance of the shy boy who was now on her shoulders. Luna shut half of the window so that the breez wont hit the boy's face causing him to wake up from a cat nap.
The boy was well aware of his environment even when he was in sleep. He could sense a pair of eyes staring at him, he was thinking it was luna just to find out if his guess was correct he calmly opened his eyelids which were shut for several minutes. And, he was right, it was the love of his life starting at him.
Luna was panicked by the sudden movement of the boy and swiftly looked away.
"you can stare at me, it wont bother me" neville said to his love with a warm smile and a calm voice
"y-yeah i know
I can stare into your eyes forever"
Luna replied with a unexpected stutter at the start of her sentence.
They were now half way through the journey, luna took a break from staring at the boy and started looking out through the window. When she felt it boring she took a newspaper which was lying on the bus, it was dated the current day.
The news said "suspicious activities found in the ministry of magic, officers are doubting if the one who must not be named's followers are planning attacks on the citizens. People are to be alerted".
She felt a unknown panic even though it was pretty commen about the daily prophet to publish about the ministry 's suspection that voldemort 's followers are planning to take revenge.
She decided not to over think and just shut her eyelids and do that neville did.
The widn still gushed through the half open window so it was easy for her to sleep.
But her mind was still reminding about the incident she read in daily prophet, she tried her best the ignore it.
Unknowing a few drops of tears came through her eyes, she herself couldn't figure out why she had a dismal even though this was just a commend situation.
There was no one to comfort her because neville was asleep near her not knowing that she is sheding tears.
The tears soon evaporation but her worrying didn't...
