Ball w/o You pt.2 - Lee Drilly

I was awake this morning before the alarm even went off, and y'know I don't even think I was really even asleep forreal which is why it was so easy for me to get up in the first place. I did my daily morning routine y'know shower, brush my teeth, wash my face etc before getting dressed in a white tank with one of Lee's shirts over it, and some jeans.

Putting on some Jordan's, and again one of Lee's Moncler jackets. I didn't bother eating, I wasn't really feelin' it so I cleaned up, and then left heading towards the train. Once I was on, I had my headphones in as I watched everyone else on board and once it got to my stop I hopped off walking towards the big ass building I sighed.

Pushing open the doors, I signed in and went into the room watching and waiting everyone else. After some time passed, the double doors open and a smile started to appear on my face.

"Yo is that my shirt?"

I chuckled, "That's the first thing you gotta say?" I asked hugging him

I sighed taking in the scent of him, even in the jumpsuit and having been in here for this long he still smelled like himself. And the difference from his smell on his clothes to it coming from him directly was mad different.

We sat down, and he flashed me a smile before it disappeared and he got serious, "You didn't sleep again did you?" He said rubbing his hand on my face

I shook my head slightly, "Can you sleep when you're used to holding someone at night?" I asked

He chuckled, "I guess that's my fault , my bad"

I didn't want to say anything, I just wanted to stare at him for as long as I possibly could. "Imma be out soon aight Babygirl, I talked to my lawyers they said I'm close to bein' out" He said holding my hand

I nodded, "You been good right? Not fightin' with your cellmate or the old heads?" I asked

Lee chuckled, "I ain't fightin nobody not today, yesterday or the last time you asked. I'm forreal keepin' out of the mix" He said leaning back smiling

"You better, if I gotta disguise myself as a guard just to watch your ass I will"

This made Lee laugh loudly, "You're wild"

"Nah I'm serious, your fuse is short Lee and I need ya home tonight rather than in three years" I said

Lee nodded, "Well you ain't gotta worry bout me Babygirl, cause I'm good"

I sighed, "How could I not worry Lee, you're not home"

Sitting up he reached across the table again holding my hand, and rubbing it as he looked into my eyes. "I know I said it earlier but I promise you Y/N, I'm comin' home soon and just like I said the other day it's gon just be me and you"

After my visit a two weeks ago with Lee I actually felt just a little bit better, not to the extent of my old self but at least to the extent where I had some peace. Holding phone conversations with Lee and actually seeing him were two different things, especially since I could physically hold him even though it was for a short time.

I sighed closing the door to the apartment, only to hear knocking at the door as I already sat down in the living room. Confused I went to the door looking through the peephole and seeing Bando rubbing his hands together.

"Yo Y/N you home?" He asked knocking on the door again

Unlocking the door, I opened it letting him inside. "How come you're up so early?" I asked walking into the kitchen

He closed the door behind him locking it, "Y'know just round My heart, how Drilly doin?" He asked sitting down by the counter

I smiled, "He's in good spirits you know him, he don't ever want nobody to worry 'bout nothing" I said sighing

Bando chuckled, "That sounds like him, how you hol'in up?" He questioning looking up at me

I shrugged, "I'm straight I guess, I mean I really just want him home y'know."

Bando nodded his head, for a while we sat there and talked. This was the one thing I loved about Drilly's friends, they looked out for each other and their loved ones. He always made it a point to come around and check up on me, and make sure I was good and I always appreciated it.

"Aight My heart, I'm gon head out gotta go check up on them Niggah's downstairs" He said shaking his head

I chuckled nodding and giving him a hug, "Be safe out there" I told him

Bando nodded one last time before he, walked out closing the door behind him. I sighed sitting on the couch, and flipping through the channels. While flipping through them my phone began ringing from the other side of the couch, I looked over to it picking it up.

"This is a collect call from Bronx County Jail for Ali Doby, say yes if you would like to accept"

I smiled,"Yes"

It took a minute before I heard Lee's loud voice, "BABYGIRL!"

I chuckled, "LeeLee"

I heard as he smacked his lips, "Girl you know they be listenin' to these calls right" He said

I laughed, "So you can shout babygirl but I can't say Lee-"

"Baby" He warned

I shook my head, "How was your day?" I said switching the subject

He sighed, "These Niggah's in here had us outside for three hours Babygirl"

"What'd you do for three hours?" I asked confused

"I dead sat in the shade, played ball for a little and then chilled with some of the ol'heads" He said

I nodded, "Y'all eat already?"

"Nope, they might be starvin' us today" He said loudly

I chuckled, "You calling them out Lee? I thought I told you to behave" I said warning him

"I am behavin' , I still ain't fought nobody" He said sounding proud

I smiled, "When's the next time you're going to be able to have visitation?" I asked

Lee sighed, and went silent for a little while. "I think they movin' me"

"Movin' you? To where?" I asked frantic

"Babygirl chill, chill, chill I overheard it and my lawyer said it might happen but I'm not sure. I could be goin to another cell or a place upstate" He explained

"Are they going to have another hearing to discuss this? Lee what if you go to the Island, you know that's going to be harder for me to see you or even talk to you" I said messing with my nail anxiously

Lee sighed once again, before smacking his lips. "Y/N Y/M/N Y/L/N, stop picking at your nail before it bleeds" Lee said

I smacked my lips, "You had to use the government name, Ali Doby?" I asked

"Ayo! They already be sayin' it in here don't you use it too" He said smacking his lips, "The moment I hear somethin' from my peoples I'll have them call you so you can come down here. Oh! And let that Niggah Bando know I 'preciate him and the boys for the box" He said

I nodded, "I will, I love you Lee"

"And I love you too Babygirl"
