"Yo dic back up" The familiar voice spoke

The boy who was sitting next to me kissed his teeth, waving him off. "Anyways beautiful whatchu doin later?" He asked leaning on the table

I looked up at him and chuckled, "She's gonna be with me dic"

The boy looked over to DD , "Word to you blowin' mines right now, I'm tryna talk to shorty over-"

Before the boy could even finish his sentence because all that could be heard was the crack as DD's fist connected with that boys face. I honestly couldn't even say I felt sorry for the boy, my silence and DD's words should've been warning enough that he should've left long time ago.

He held his nose looking at DD , he began saying something but it was incoherent due to the fact that his hand was in front of his mouth holding his nose. DD jumped at him and the boy got up running away, I shook my head at him. "Seriously DD"I said looking at him

DD laughed, "I told'em back up he ain't wanna listen"He said taking the seat where the boy was siting

I chuckled, "What're you doin' here anyways? Ain't you supposed to be with the boys?" I asked

He smacked his lips, "Them boys actually waitin' for me outside" He said

I looked outta the big windows in the cafeteria to see them standing outside of the V, a small crowd surrounding them. "Why y'all pull up anyways? I thought the principal told you either attend the whole day or don't come?"

DD messed with the stale ass french fries on the tray in front of me, "I had a feelin' that a Niggah was tryna bother mines"He said a mischievous smile on his face

I gave him a look shaking my head at him, "The real reason DD" I chuckled

He kissed his teeth, "I just wanna check you out in case I don't get to see you later"

I nodded my head, "So you missed me"

DD mugged me, "I ain't say all that now"

I laughed, "Boy please I know you missed me"

"David Reyes! What did the principal tell you about being here?!" The Assistant Principal exclaimed as she made her way to the table

DD kissed his teeth mugging her, "What did I tell that dic bout y'all saying my name?" He responded

I placed my hand on his shoulder, which made him look at me and sigh. Turning back to the Assistant Principal he rolled his eyes, "Either you leave the premises or you'll be escorted out by the police" She said

DD looked back over to me a very bored expression on his face, "Imma holla at you later" He said before looking back over to her

I chuckled nodding my head, "Bye DD" I said

The Assistant Principal didn't say anything as she pointed towards the double doors leading back outside to the car. DD stood up leaning down at placing a kiss on my cheek, before walking outta the double doors and to the car.
