The breeze passed through the group of teenagers as they walked. Hinata and Kageyama were walking ahead arguing over something per usual as Yamaguchi and Tsukishima occasionally laughed at their stupidity. They were walking to their coach's store after practice like normal, except it wasn't at all. To Yamaguchi, his whole world was in an upside down rollercoaster with to many loopy loops making everyone unbearably dizzy the longer it went on. He felt his stomach twist and his palms sweat all day and practice, especially in practice. He just couldn't stop thinking about what he planned to do today, and the time was getting closer with each step. His head was spinning, his face was most definitely redder than usual by now. Thankfully no one noticed. His friends all kept doing what they normally do, be loud and fuck around. He used that to try and ground himself, today was normal, for now. They all enter the store and grab their snacks, Tadashi went with Hinata to grab the food while Tsukishima went with Kageyama for drinks.

" Yamaguchi, you ok? You've been acting weirdly all day today."

" Wha— What?? Of course I'm ok! Why wouldn't I be ok? Everything is normal, I don't know what you're talking about dude! " That was a lie.

" Ooooh, there is so something going on! What is it? C'mon tell me! Please? " Hinata leaned forward with anticipation and excitement.

Yamaguchi groans, " It's nothing Hinata, drop it. "

" Awh c'mon, it can't be that bad! " Hinata stands up straighter to think. " You thinking about volleyball? "

" No. "

" Your grades? "

" Nope. "

" Upcoming test? "

" Not really. "

" A crush!? "

"... No—"

" OH! Is it a girl!? "

" What!? No—"

" So it's a boy! I didn't know you swung that way—"

" Hinata I don't– You—"

" Oh! My! God! Is it Tsukishima?"

Yamaguchi reddens while he hisses, " Don't say that so loudly! "

" It is! Wait, are you going to confess?"

" Hush! Stop talking!!"

" What are you two doing?"

Yamaguchi stops trying to strangle Hinata when he hears Tsukishima's voice, " Nothing!"

" OW! Yeah, nothing. Jeez, ya didn't have to hit me." Hinata grips his side where he was elbowed and followed the others out the store.

Kageyama picks another fight with Hinata while Tsukishima shakes his head. Yamaguchi watches it all from a distance, trying to keep his mind together. He jogged to catch up with the group ahead of him. He was so nervous. How would he confess? Would Tsukishima even like him back? It was all new to him, and scary.
