Sungho had a system and it was fool proof. Whenever he had time alone at the dorm he would take out all his little gear and put on pororo. On days that he was feeling small, but didn't have time to properly regress he'd do a Vlive with Kingme where he'd decorate phone cases with Sanrio stickers. It was always enough to destress him enough until he could properly regress. The one thing he didn't properly account for was illness.
Sungho had woken up with a pretty bad headache. He tried to get out of bed, but was instantly hit with a wave of dizziness. He whimpered a little as he got back in his bed and curled up under the covers. He knew he needed to get up because they had a very busy day, but his head hurt so much. Sungho decided that he'd get up at the last possible second.
"Hyung, Sungho hyung, it's time to wake up. The van will be here in half an hour." Dongsik said as he shook his hyung awake. Sungho moaned a little as he woke up. His headache had receded a little and he got up to get dressed. As he was getting dressed, he realized that he was gravitating towards softer colors. He then realized that it'd been over a month since he last regressed fully and he normally did at least a partial regression every other week. His headache was likely a stress headache from no regressing. Unfortunately, there wasn't anything he could do about it for another week when the group's schedule would finally calm down.
As he finished getting ready, a thought occurred to Sungho. If he played up his headache and acted as dizzy as he felt earlier, he might get the day off. Then he'll be able to spend the day regressed and he'll be better by tomorrow. Unfortunately, Sungho had spent a little too much time in his thoughts because Seungbo came into the room looking quite irritated and ushered him into the van with a protein shake to drink.
Sungho drank the protein shake in the van and contemplated his options. He could try telling Seungbo that he wasn't feeling good and hope that he would be understanding and let him sit out of practice, or he could do his best to get through practice and try to find time to regress later. He decided to go with the former.
"Seungbo hyung, I was wondering if-"
"Not now Sung, Manager-nim just told me that they've decided to move our schedules up, so now we're behind schedule." Sungho and the others all groaned at the announcement. They knew that the company merely had a lot of faith in them, but it was still annoying. Sungho knew that he'd need to attend practice to the best of his ability so he turned to Dongsik instead.
"Dongsik, do you have any tylenol on you? I have a little bit of a headache." Dongsik nodded and dug through his bag for the pills. Sungho accepted the pills and hoped it would be enough to get him through the day. As soon as the group arrived at the studio they immediately started stretching so they could start practice as soon as possible.
As the group was stretching, Yunho decided to annoy his group mates a bit and put on everyone's favorite song. Baby Shark. This mostly had the effect that he was hoping for. Seungbo and Dongsik looked very annoyed and had some choice words about Yunho's music choice. Yoosung looked amused at his hyungs' reactions. Jihunn looked annoyed but not enough to complain or anything.
Sungho on the other hand was having a fight with his brain. The second he heard the opening to the song, he nearly slipped right then and there. Thankfully he did manage to keep himself reign in until the end of the song.
Unfortunately for Sungho, Yunho wasn't done messing with the group and the next song was Enhypen's cover of the Hey Tayo theme song. Sungho felt himself slip almost immediately.
Sungho suddenly felt extremely overwhelmed. He was in a room he didn't recognize with music blaring and people were around. He had broken the two rules he had to follow, "Don't fully regress outside of your room, and You can't be fully small around other people". Little Sungho didn't know what to do, so he started crying, loudly.
