The strong smell hits her nostrils.

Gross!!

She covers her nose, before taking a further step down.

The staircase.

It was giving her creepy vibes and she could feel, the walls were rough. They were turning yellowish as white paint has been brushed off from the ceiling. The staircase was dark and long, she let out a deep huff before finally resting her foot on the last staircase.

She couldn't even breathe deeply. The smell was making her feel nauseous. The further she was walking deep into the corridor, the more her bones were aching with the cold breezes. It felt like ice cubes were melting into her veins and her throbbing pulses were getting frozen with the temperature.

Her legs stumbled with something and she let out a yelp. That's it. There was no further way to go. Her palms touched the walls of the corridor. There must be a door or way, she searched for a way or something with her hands.

The pulse of her brain nearly burst with anxiety when she found a rough iron door. It felt so huge and strong, the knob was on her hand but she took time. She leaned on the door, her ear pressed against the cold iron as if she touched the freezer door.

Her trembling heart slammed against her ribcage when a groan touched her ears. She wasn't sure if the scream was real or her illusion. She couldn't take the risk of calling out if there was someone. Adnan was sleeping up there, she wasn't a fool to let him know.

Her Heartbeats drop in the pit of her stomach when another cry reaches her ear. Thousands of thoughts were colliding in her mind, reacting like chemicals. She was scared of the result. Scared of the terrible lies wrapping around of truth.

She felt her heart throbbing against her ribcage even loudly when she twisted the rusty iron knob and push the door lightly but it was so old and rusty that it makes a jerking sound while opening wild. At the same time, she heard someone's cries with a gagging sound.

" Please don't come near me. " A choking sound but her heart squeezed. She wasn't even entered yet the person inside was terrified to face her or should say someone else. Her eyes weren't dry when she get into the room the freezer. There was so cold that in a few steps her body felt numb. Her arms automatically wrapped around her to protect herself from the chills. The begging was still out loud, as close she got the more screaming was going to peak. " Stay away from me, you psycho. Don't...don't. Please, don't come near me. "

It was a familiar voice to her, but couldn't figure out who was in front of her. " I beg you, please let me go. I will tell everyone the truth but please have mercy..." But the person shut his mouth when he finally saw her face. Her pale face came to view as the only bulb let him see. " Dianna..." She flinched when the crying person called her name. Now it was certain she knew this man. " Dianna, it's me. Uncle Kris. "

A gasp left her mouth when reality hits her hard. " Uncle Kris."

" Yes! It's me, help me. Please..." Her wide eyes spread even wide as she clenches her palm.

" How did you end up here? " She asked with a shaking voice.

" Not yet, first, untie me. Huh? Look, we both aren't safe here. You've to help me..."

" What do you mean, we're not safe here? Why you're tied up here..." She was cut off by him.

" First untie me, okay..."

" Who did this to you..."

" Release me first, you stupid bitch. " She flinched with his growl but her sixth sense was telling her to not obey. She gulped, hard. Her throat work but it didn't drench and even in the freezing room her skin broke into a sweat.
