Chapter 2-New School

I brushed my teeth vigorously and jumped into the shower. "Need to look my best today." I spoke to myself again. I felt refreshed and light-hearted. Sigh. I walked out of the bathroom into my new, large yellow bedroom. It was bare with nothing but a mirror adorning the wall slightly. With a towell wrapped round me I gazed into it. Woah. I had a six-pack. I did some buff poses in the mirror, actually feeling good about my looks today. Too bad I wont be needing it today ;) .

"LEONDRE DEVRIES GET YOUR SILLY BUM FACE DOWN HERE!"
"SHUT UP TILLY!!!" Damn shes so annoying sometimes! I ruffled my hair,undid my top button and slid my tie on loosley 'rebellll'. I made my way to the bottom of the stairs where tilly stood leaning on the door frame cross legged and folding her arms.
"Ta da!" I held my hands up shaking them sarcastically. Tilly rolled her eyes at me.

We arrived at school . It was massive.
"Woah" Me and tilly whispered in sync. She gawped at the sight and frowned.
"Dont worry tillyyy, when you're a big girl you can join me here!" How I loved teasing that girl. She huffed at me, I just smirked.

" Settle down everyone!" Miss dobbs slammed her hand on th desk. "As you can see we have a new student joining us today; Leondre Devries." She gestured towards me.
"Errr. Hi?" I attempted to wave at them but my nerves got the better of me. Instead of a wave my hand danced about like a headless chicken. I pulled it back realising what I was doing and saw the class roaring with laughter.
'DWERP!' WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!'
I cowered into the corner. 'Oh well done Leo. There it goes again. My school life ruined. In fact my life altogether,ruined.' I tensed my fists.

Slowly, but discretely my eyes scanned the room. Everyone laughed at me except her. Hair long, brunette and wavy, eyes rich hazel. She smiled at me with her moist pink lips and those dimples!... WAIT! SHES SMILING AT ME! I smiled back not realising I was staring at her for half of the lesson.

The bell rang signaling break time. Rushing out if the classroom I saw her again, sat alone scribbling on a peice of paper.
"Hey, your looking pretty today." I blurted and cast my hands over my mouth. Damn it Leo! " oh errm.. I'm really sor-"
"Its ok." She blushed bright red and gestured for me to sit with her.
"Whats your name?" I asked her the typical question that everyone does , I bet I looked so lame.
"Sophie."
"Hiya 'soph' I smiled and she smiled back
" I-"
"Woah there kid! Its rude not to introduce ourselves . Shall we?" A tall built up year ten received agreements from the snooty slappers surrounding him. He grabbed my shirt. " I'm Jayden, thats Caira, Ben, Joe , Sarah and Beth. Everyone say hi to Leondre." I felt sick. I gagged silently. As each one came to me they hurt me discretely.
"Sorry." A soft voice barely whispered to me and insteas of punching me, she nudged me slightly. 'Sarah... why didnt she hurt me?'

Sophie stared at me as i winced in pain.
"You ok? Need anything?" She asked.
"No. But thanks. Who are they?"
" A bunch of idiots that do this to everyone new." She cast an anger filled scowl at Jaydens group as they slowly walked away. " Dont worry, Sarah was new and now she is part of their friendship."
I sighed. Why is it always me?
