Chapter 5- Life Changes

Leo's P.O.V

"Leo!" Caira jumped on top of me grasping me passionately, she leaned in to kiss me.
"Get off me you fuckin creep!" I threw her off me and gave her the most disgusted look that I could conjure up. "Before you hurt me, now you kiss me?! Phsyco!! What the hell is wrong with you bitch! Oh and if you didnt know already, Im with sophie so BACK OFF!" Miss dobbs walked in and I stormed out of the classroom raging with no care of what anyone thought.

I leant on the cold wall and looked up to the ceiling.
"Boo..." A familiar voice whispered monotone.
"Woah!" I jumped "Sophie dont do that!" I chuckled but she just stared at the ground eyes red and puffy. I walked next to her and put my arm around her waist. "Baby girl, you heard didnt you?" She nodded slightly.
"I didnt let her kiss me. I promi-"
"Its fine!" She looked up at me and lay her hand on my chest.
"Well then what is bothering you?" I brushed her hair behind her ears and kept my hand on her neck.
"Nothing much. Just life really I guess..." She reached into her inner blazer pocket and pulled out her brand bew iphone 6c. Smashed. Completely shattered.
My eyes widened as I put my hand over my mouth. Slowly she pulled aside her blazer revealing a deep red patch of blood on her shirt with an enormous bruise surrounding a deep cut underneath.
"Still? Im so sorry Soph, I-I dont- I," I stammered tears welled up my eyes as I stared at sophies eyes filled with pain. How could anyone hurt my baby?

"I'll be okay," She whispered to me leaning her forehead against mine. We smiled and perfectly slipped our lips together. She was the best kisser. I closed my eyes enjoying my time with sophie, the time I waited 5 weeks for, my first real kiss. For the first time ever I felt alive. Sparks lit up inside of me, butterflies swarming in my stomach. I felt excitingly sick if that was possible. I put her hands around my neck and my arms around her curved hips. I really love her. I never wanted to leave her grasp, her warm cherry tasting lips, her cheeky little grinns whilst kissing. Never. But we eventually let go.
"Whooo!" I said smiling at her. "You are an amazing kisser babe!"
"So are you," she smiled and blushed hot red. Just as we held hands the bell rang signaling break. Swarms of gnarly students burst out of their classrooms. Beth stepped to the side with us
"Hey Leo,"
"Beth just leave us alone alright, we were having a moment."

Sophies P.O.V

"Beth just leave us alone alright, we were having a moment." Leo said calmly to her.
"Oh I wasnt gonna say owt to yous! So how was your moment? I hope I didnt spoil it." She fake smiled at leo then gave me the evils when his back was turned.
'Shit! She told me to stay away from leo,'
"Beth! Go away! Im not in the mood!" Leo grabbed my phone and lifted up my blazer shoving them in her face. "You touch her again Bethany Holroyd you see me break your fingers one by one!" He spat at her. She opened her mouth to speak but realised leo was so serious. Her eyebrows ruffled together, her nostrils flared and she gritted her teeth whilst staring at me wide eyed. I couldnt help but let out a laugh , her face was hilarious . And it got better : she went red as a tomato wen leo turned to see her and let out a tiny scoff also.

"I told you stay away from him!!!" Beth held me up against the freezing ,mouldy stone bricks.
"I-I-"
"Shut your fuckin gob bitch before I knock it off!" She held her fist up to my face. "Jay," she called. I opened my eyes slightly. Jayden walked towards me.
"P-please AGHH A- " I couldnt speak or yell in pain. It was unbearable. I collapsed on the floor no pain to my face, but everywhere else. No one could see. Not if I didnt show them. I passed out able to feel and hear but not to see ,talk or move. The school supervisor knelt down beside me.
"What happened to her?" She asked Jayden her voice worried.
"She was just walking by shivering and next minuite she collapsed!" He lied.
Miss checked my pulse and I heard her sigh in releif.
"Help me get her to the nurse,"
Sarah offered and helped carry me gently to the office.
"Im so sorry, I dont want to be in this group. It hurts me when they hurt other people. I hate them but I have to stay 'loyal' to keep myself out of trouble. Im so so sorry," She whispered into my ear whilst a drop of water fell on my face. She carefully wiped it away and sniffled.
"Once again Im so sorry," I heard her walk away closing the door behind her leaving me in the arms of a nurse ,lifeless.

I woke up in hospital finally able to see my surroundings. Charle and Leo lay fast asleep on top of each other. Awwh. I reached over to Leo ,who was compfortably draped over charlie, and tickled his nose.
"Huh! What!" I smiled as his eyelids were half open rapidly darting around the room.
"Soph!" His eyes opened fully as he leapt on me hugging me tightly.
"Ooh careful Leo" he hurt my many bruises scattered on my body.
"Sorry..." He said guiltily and leant forward to kiss my fore head
"Charlie, " I reached my hand out to rub his cheek. He smiled painfully.
"Guys I am fine you know! Just a little bit cold!" I smiled uplifting their dull expressions.
"I'll warm you up!" Leo stroked my arms and lay next to me. I caught charlie staring at us the whole time. Did he like me. I think I like him. I know I like him. But Leo...
