chapter 8- Gone

Sophies P.O.V

It had been 3 weeks since Leo left for Portugal. I was alone.Who said me and charlie couldnt be friends at least but he had forgotton me completely. Lunch times were lonely, and I was heart broken. He was with sarah and was always snuggling up to her.

I missed Leo so much. It wasnt like he was going for a week or two, he was going for a month. I seriously thought that he was gonna dump me but Id rather he did that then leave me for so long. I missed his warm huggs, his beautiful eyes looking over you, his unbelievably cute smile...

Charlies P.O.V

Sophie was avoiding me. Why did she hate me so much. We were never officially together and why could I not get with sarah anyway. 'Well sarah is kinda sophies best friend,' ugh! I always mess things up!

"Heya Sophie, long time no see!" I smiled and walked up to her. She didnt look happy. Her smile wasnt as lively as it was before. She wasnt ok.
"Hi." She whispered sat under a tree. I sat next to her.
"You dont seem well."
"Well Im fine you know, Leo has gone, youve gone out with my best friend. You left me. Sarah left me. I have no one. Yeah Im just fine!"
Sophies P.O.V.

I really wanted charlie back even as friends but I wasnt very good at not being stubborn.
"sorry charlie. Im just missing leo alot," I squeezed my eyelids together keeping the tears in but when he cuddled me the barrier broke open. I poured my heart out to him. I never thought I could ever cry so much but I did.
"I miss him too," He said resting his head on mine.

A month later.
Sophies P.O.V

I waited feeling really giddy at the airport. I was finally seeing my little lion.
Beep beep
My watch sounded as the time hit 7:30. He should be here anytime soon. I smiled so widely it must have looked awful. Scurrying to the window I searched the sky which held no sign of a plane anywhere near. Where was he?!?
" Excuse me, but Im supposed to be seeing my friend arrive here at 7:30 but he hasnt shown up?"
" Where was her flight from?" She rudely walked whilst I was talking to her. Gosh!
"Portugal, his flight left at 3:25."
"I dont know. why dont you ask someone that actually works here." She turned around smirking. Yeesh it was a normal lady.
"Oh sorry. Its just your outfit looks similar t-"she walked away ignoring me completely!
"Hi my friend plane has not arrived and it has been 20 minuites..." I repeated to an actual member of staff. Damn why was this so complicated. She replied
'I dont know, I will have a check"
But she took forever so I called mum to pick me up.
"Leo wasnt there mum, Where is he?"
"Im not sure honey. Dont worry now. he's ok. Trust me." How could I not worry.

I woke up the next morning expecting Leo to be wrapped around me. He wasnt. He wasnt for a long time.
"Brrrr...Brrrrr..." I facetimed Leo but he never answered.Wierd.
I rang him. Still no answer.
