*Author POV*
*2 weeks later*
It was the weekend and Taehyung was eating breakfast when he heard his phone ring.
"Hello?" He answered mid chewing.
"Hey Tae! Wanna hang out today? We could go get lunch together, my treat." Ji-Kyung asked.
"I mean sure why not." He responded.
"Great, how about at twelve?" She suggested.
"Yeah sure." Taehyung agreed and they cut the call.
Taehyung's new car arrived yesterday.
He hadn't seen Namjoo properly for a while, It's only a Hi whenever Taehyung was going to work.
Last week when Taehyung went over to give some food Sujin made, Sehun said Namjoo's been putting herself to work long hours at the grocery store.
Taehyung decided to go get changed and just watch TV.
It was almost twelve and Taehyung headed out to his car.
He drove to the restaurant they were going to eat at.
They took a table and began talking.
"Feels nice to be able to talk without work interrupting." Ji-Kyung chuckled.
"Yeah." Taehyung nodded.
As they talked, outside Namjoo was heading home after a long morning of work, she felt she needed a break.
She spotted the two laughing together.
"We've never hung out like that..." Namjoo looked down thinking to herself.
She took a deep breath and decided to leave them alone.
"Are you hoping to find a boyfriend soon?" Taehyung asked.
"Eh I don't know really if I even want to, I love the idea of being in love and having someone with you but at the same time I love being independent, I'm free to do what I want without having to worry about someone else. And do you wanna know a secret..?" Ji-Kyung whispered at the end.
"I think I'm into girls..."
"Wow Ji-Kyung that's cool!" Taehyung smiled.
Ji-Kyung felt embarrassed.
"Well what about you?" She asked.
"I'm hoping to find someone soon..." Taehyung smiled looking down.
"Is that someone Namjoo?" Taehyung's eyes widened at he looked at Ji-Kyung.
"I know Taehyung, I can see it, but I feel like there's tension between you two." She crossed her arms.
"I feel it to, she hasn't been acting the same, she used to be smiling all the time and joking around but now she's just cold to me." Taehyung sighed.
"I'm sure she'll open up soon, I can feel she likes you to." Ji-Kyung smiled.
"I hope so." Taehyung chuckled.
After eating they decided to go home.
"Thanks for the meal." Taehyung waved as he got inside his car.
As he walked inside his house Sujin had to tell him something.
"Taehyung-ah we're going to see your sister." Sujin smiled.
"Wait what? Is she coming here?" Taehyung asked.
"No we are going there for three months." Sujin shook her head.
"What about my job?!" Taehyung's eyes widened.
"Oh I'm sure you can take a holiday plus we'll get to see our old house." Sujin nodded.
"Oh alright then, when are we leaving?" Taehyung took his jacket off.
"Tomorrow night."
"Tomorrow!? Eomma you could've given a warning or something." Taehyung was shocked.
" I already packed your bags you'll be fine, and Mr Kang will look after the house." Sujin stood up.
"We're taking the plane to and we can't cancel now." Sujin wasn't taking any buts.
"Alright..." Taehyung walked up to his room.
He wanted to tell Namjoo but she was dragging herself to work they barley talked anymore.
He decided to call her and ask her to meet up.
"Namjoo-ah." He said immediately as the call connected.
As Namjoo picked up the phone she heard him call her name so sweetly
It was so nice to hear him say that to her.
"Yes?" She responded.
"Can we meet up today?" Namjoo's face lit up.
"Yeah sure, when?" She asked.
"In fifteen minutes, The park, meet me there." He said.
"Did you forget we live next door to each other?" She chuckled.
"Nope but I need to take a quick shower." He laughed. It felt good to hear her like this
"Ok then." They cut the call.
*Time skip*
Namjoo waited impatiently.
Then she heard fast footsteps and she turned to see Taehyung still with wet hair panting in front of her.
"What took you so long?" She chuckled.
"Long shower I guess." He ruffled his hair.
"Well?" She smiled.
"I need to tell you something." Taehyung cleared his throat.
"I'm all ears." Namjoo crossed her arms.
"I'm going to be gone for three months." He sighed.
"Three months!? Where?" Namjoo was shocked hearing this.
"I'm going back to Daegu to see my sister, she had a child some time ago." He explained.
"Three months..." Namjoo looked down.
"I'll be back in no time and we can spend more time together." Taehyung tried to make her feel better.
Suddenly Namjoo started crying.
"Hey what's wrong?" Taehyung held her shoulders.
"It's n-nothing." Namjoo gently pushed him off.
"I know it's not nothing, we'll still see each other again, I'll call you." Taehyung smiled.
"It's not that! How can you still not understand me?" Namjoo sobbed.
"Then what?" Taehyung asked.
