JAKE AND SUNGHOON WERE HEADED BACK HOME AFTER THEIR ENCOUNTER WITH HEESEUNG. Jake suddenly had an idea, "Sunghoon should we just not go back and have fun?" Jake looked towards Sunghoon who had his eyes on the road.

Sunghoon grabbed his phone, "Sure, Let me ask my parents-"

"No. Let's just do it without permission. We're just giving them a taste of their own medicine." Jake grabbed Sunghoon's phone from out of his hand and powered it off. Jake did the same with his.

"Let's just feel freedom for one last time tonight."

"I mean, sure, if you're ready for the consequences."

Sunghoon pulled up to a modern apartment complex.

"Where are we?" Jake looked out the window.

"My hideout?" Sunghoon wasn't so sure what to call the place. "I know the owner of this place, and he gave me an apartment just so I could run away from the royal life." Sunghoon took the key out of the ignition and got out of the car, he ran to the other side to open the car door for Jake.

"Wow, such a gentleman," Jake smiled.

Jake and Sunghoon entered the building, "Sunghoon! I think this is your first back-to-back visit since you were in high school!" An old woman walked in front of the fiancés'.

She looked at Jake, "Oh?" she looked at Jake up and down, "Who's this?"

Jake awkwardly smiled as Sunghoon hesitated to speak, "This is my—my uhm-"

"Speak boy!"

"This is my fiancé." Sunghoon bit his tongue in embarrassment.

The woman gasped, "So this is the one I've been seeing on my TV! I knew you looked familiar." Jake chuckled. "Well it's late, and I don't wanna be a bother-"

"You're never a bother!" Sunghoon interrupted her.

The woman ruffled Sunghoon's hair, "Don't stay too long, you know your father will be enraged." The woman bowed at Jake and he bowed back.

Sunghoon and Jake took the stairs instead of the elevator so they wouldn't run into people and get recognized.

They entered Sunghoon's private apartment. "Wow, this is nice!" Jake entered first and then Sunghoon after.

Jake sat on the couch, "So what can we do?" Jake took his jacket off and sat on the couch.

Sunghoon entered the kitchen "We could make cookies from scratch?" Sunghoon yelled from the kitchen. Jake got up from the couch and went into the kitchen.

"Let's make some cookies!"

Sunghoon got all the ingredients: Eggs, vanilla extract, baking soda, butter, salt, flour, brown & white sugar, and chocolate chips! (They decided to make chocolate chips since Sunghoon randomly had them in his cabinet)

"Do you have a measuring cup?" Jake asked Sunghoon. Sunghoon looked through the cabinets and he could not find a measuring cup.

"Well, doing precise measurements isn't any fun."

Jake rolled his eyes, "If these cookies fail, it's all because of you." Jake got a big glass bowl and put it on the counter.

Sunghoon rolled up his sleeves, he then got the flour and started to pour it into the bowl. He was unsure of when to stop so he just continued to pour it. Jake wasn't paying attention to Sunghoon, he was busy looking up the instructions.

"Okay so I think- That's enough sugar!" Sunghoon stopped pouring the flour, but the bowl was filled to the brim. "Park Sunghoon." Jake grabbed the flour from off of Sunghoon's hands.

"Why did you do that? It's not like we're making cookies for the whole apartment plex." Jake glared at Sunghoon.

"Hold the flour bag open while I pour some flour back in" Jake gave the flour bag back to Sunghoon, he then grabbed the glass bowl and started to pour it back in.

*achoo*

Jake opened his eyes to see Sunghoon covered in flour, "Oh—my bad…" Jake struggled to not laugh.

Sunghoon had his eyes closed, "I think you did that on purpose" he wiped his eyes so he could open them. He then wiped his flour hands on Jake's shirt.

"I- bruh I said it was an accident!"

"Yeah yeah, we're even now." Sunghoon unconsciously ruffled Jake's fluffy hair, getting flour in Jake's hair.

Jake hit Sunghoon, "Preheat the oven to 350° while I do this." Jake put some butter and the white and brown sugar into the bowl of flour. He mixed the dry ingredients before putting eggs and soft butter into the bowl. Sunghoon stood behind Jake, watching him create the cookie dough.

After mixing the rest of the ingredients, Jake and Sunghoon took a cookie sheet pan out of his cabinet and started to mold pieces of the cookie dough into circles and placed them on the sheet.

Sunghoon then grabbed the pan of homemade cookie dough and placed it in the oven.

"I think we did good!" Jake and Sunghoon washed their hands in the kitchen sink.

"You did all the work…" Awkwardly chuckled.

"Oh no…"

Sunghoon looked at Jake who was drying his hands, "What?" He was genuinely confused. Did they forget to add a certain ingredient?

"I'm gonna become a housewife…" Jake cried out in a dramatic tone, as he dried his hands with a towel. He and Sunghoon laughed, knowing it was true.

"I'll try to learn how to cook," Sunghoon bit his lip, "I don't want you cooking every single meal till your ninety." Sunghoon looked at the cookies that were sitting in the oven. He was impatient.

"Let's watch Netflix while we wait?" Jake put on a timer for the cookies.

Sunghoon nodded as he made his way to the living room, Jake followed behind him.

Sunghoon and Jake were sitting on the couch watching a reality tv show. It was boring. Why do Americans yell so much? At certain points, the two boys that sat on the couch did not know a single thing that was happening in the show. After the first episode, Sunghoon was yawning and Jake's eyes were getting droopy. Eventually, they both fell asleep.

They fell into a deep sleep.

beep. beep. beep.

Jake's alarm went off. Jake opened his eyes, turned off the alarm, and went to sleep.

"Fuck, Jake, the cookies," Sunghoon woke up. Jake was dead asleep, resting his head on Sunghoon's lap.

Jake opened his eyes once again, he realized the position he was in and immediately got up. "Sorry..."

"Let's check on the cookies."

Sunghoon and Jake entered the kicthen. Sunghoon carefully took out the hot pan with cookies with kitchen mittens on. He placed the pan on the counter. Sunghoon and Jake wait before trying them.

"Well they're kinda burnt... but whatever they taste good," Sunghoon took a bite of the slightly burnt chocolate chip cookie.

Jake laughed looking at Sunghoon who took another bite of the cookie. "Hey! Why haven't you eaten your cookie?" Sunghoon pointed to Jake's unbitten cookie that sat in his hand. Sunghoon held Jake's wrist and moved it so the cookie went into his mouth.

Jake took a bite, it isn't that bad.

"I think it'll taste better once I get some sleep," Jake rested his elbows on the counter.

"Should we spend the night here?" Sunghoon asked putting the rest of the cookies in a container.

"Yeah, mine as well."
