THERE'S THIS UNEXPLAINABLE THING when it comes to healing from a loved one's passing, it does get easier as time passes by, but at the beginning, when the feeling is raw and fresh-it feels like it will never get better from there.
It's as if the world is going against every ounce of happiness a person feels. The pain is real, and the emotions are real; the tears won't stop, the guilt won't stop-the could haves, should have, and would haves won't stop racing in a person's mind, taking them to this bottomless pit of despair.
