Sonic was unconscious.
He woke up bleary-eyed and looked around slowly.
"Tails? Amy?" He called.
"Looks like i was the only one who made it out of that... Whatever it was..." Sonic sighed.
Suddenly, a robotic voice said, "mortal."
Sonic was confused. Who was talking to him? And why?
"You have done the impossible." The voice continued. "You have escaped Cyberspace through your own power. You... Are the key..."
"The 'key' huh?" Sonic replied. "Sure beats being called a 'rodent'. Are you saying i can save my friends?"
"Find the Chaos Emeralds. Destroy the Titans. Tear down the walls between dimensions" The voice finished. Sonic listened while tapping his finger on his arm.
"Hey, how about a little more context? Hello?" Sonic asked, but there was no reply.
Little did he know, a girl with red glitchy particles was watching him.
"Well, at least a little direction is better than none." Sonic said, while tapping the tip of his shoe on the ground. "Let's go!"
