I walked into the room with the bowl of popcorn, and random bags of candy. When I looked at the screen I saw the boss baby. "I love that movie," I excitedly said as I put the snacks on the table. " I never saw it, that's why I chose it," he replied looking through the snacks. I went to grab a blanket from the one-person seater couch and went to sit on the L-shaped couch which was pulled out to create a full rectangle. "The baby looks like sam, oh shit, I didn't mean to spoil it," I covered my mouth quickly. Colby laughed, " it's fine I can see it from the cover of the movie, it does look like Sam" he pointed at the screen. It was the baby. Of course Nova, how can you be so stupid? Embarrassing yourself in front of your crush. I went to sit other couch beside him and put the blanket over our legs.

A couple of minutes into the movie, Colby moved his arms over my shoulder to pull me closer to him. I pulled the blanket higher up to cover our upper bodies as well. Around three-quarters through the movie where the important part was happening Colby was so focused on the movie that I shifted my eyes from the screen to his face admiring it. I zoned out gazing into his eyes I didn't even notice that he paused the movie and was looking back at me. "Like what you see," he said smirking which made me zone back to reality. I quickly turned away because of my embarrassment. He turned my head by holding my chin to face him. I didn't know what to do or say. I just got caught staring at my brother's best friend. I was staring into Colby's eyes once again. He was looking into my eyes and then moved his gaze from my eyes down to my lips and back to the other eye. The triangle method. He slowly leaned in to kiss me. When our lips connected we both closed our eyes. WOW! I just kissed my all-time crush. Omg no, no, no, Nova what do you think you're doing??? That's your brother's best friend.

I pulled away shocked at what we have done. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to do that," Colby apologised."You're fine, it's normal for these things to happen I think," I tried to comfort him. He looked at his phone "oh shit, it's already seven p.m, I should probably get going," he said as he got off the couch. A wave of chills hit my body from the left since he moved and there was nothing to keep it warm. "Or you could stay," I suggested as Sam asked to use Colby's car and he would have to walk home. Please stay. Especially after what happened. "I have no clothes and my parents are probably worried about my whereabouts," he said with a worried face. Worried about what he just said or that he just kissed his best friend's sister?

"You can use Sam's clothes and just message them that you're staying here," I suggested once again hoping he'd stay but he protested and I didn't want to argue so I let him leave. Why is he giving me two-sided feelings? One minute he kisses me, the next minute he's rushing to leave. Boys are so confusing.

Once I saw the door close I put away the remaining snacks and put the blanket where I took it from. I went up to my bathroom and took a bath to relax and forget about what has just happened. Did he like me or was it just in the heat of the moment? After my warm relaxing bath, I went to bed but thoughts kept going through my head and all of them were about Colby. Even tho I've been stressed for the past couple of days over school, it never came across my mind to stress over that. Colby Brock will be the death of me. Also did my brother get kidnapped by that girl? Or is he dead?
