Hey guys,Chase here.(Riley's trying to take the computer from me. No,Ri it's my turn....He's pouting now but I mustn't give into the baby pout.)Anyway,The gang and I were working at the dinosaur café when I noticed a table of jock teenagers making fun of my Raptor.I walked over to the table
"Ri,Table four is ready to order."I said gesturing to a group of girls.Riley flashed me a grateful smile. 'Thanks.' His voice said in my mind 'I've got these idiots' I responded back.
"Hey guys,Name's Chase and I'll be your waiter today."I bit back a sneer.They told me their orders.
"So how do you know nerdy boy Griffin."The first boy asked.I looked him dead in the eyes
"He's my teammate, Co-worker and best friend."I didn't say boyfriend cause I want Riley to be ready to say he has a boyfriend before I announce it to the world.I wrote down their orders. "These shouldn't take long."I turned on my heel and walked back to the kitchen.
"Who were those jerks?They seem like assholes."I said to Riley.He scoffed
"They are assholes but multiply the usual asshole by 100 then dip them in manure and leave them to dry on a tree overnight. That's not even close to how horrible they are. Derick is the ringleader and the other 2 were his clowns."Riley's voice was laced with rage and malice. I nudged him with my shoulder.
"Cheer up baby Raptor."I nudged him again. A smile broke on his face."Huston,Baby raptor has smiled."
"Don't call me that in public,Chase!"I chuckled
"Oh,This is hardly public but I can kiss you if you prefer."I smiled flirtatiously. Riley's cheeks turned tomato red
"Please don't,You're making us singles seem lonely."Shelby groaned, causing Riley and I to burst out in laughter.
