"Dominik?"

I gasp in awe. No words were able to come out of my mouth.
Dominik Livakovic. My ex boyfriend who cheated on me with my best friend two years ago. Since then, I haven't spoken a word to him. I blocked him and removed him off of everything. I wanted no contact with him.

"Follow me."

He says in a monotone voice. I had no choice BUT to follow him. We were headed towards the car. All the windows had been tinted, only the drivers seat side window wasn't. He opened the door for me as I step in the car.
What the actual fuck is happening right now? This doesn't feel real.

I felt like crying, screaming, just letting it all out. It was a sight I'll never forget. Walking into his bedroom in his apartment, and seeing him making out with my best friend who was on top of him. Naked. They both were.
"Just my luck" I whisper to myself.

The whole car ride was dead silent that you'd be able to hear a pin drop. I could catch him glancing at me;a lot.

"How've-"

"I'd rather you don't say anything."

I interrupted him while staring straight into his eyes.  Actually, I do want him to say something, but at the same time if he did, I know I'd just end up crying.
How did I never realise that Dominik is on my dads team? What? He never told me, neither did dad. Whatever, I can't wait to just get to the hotel and get a proper good rest.

We arrived at the hotel. Dominik offered to carry my bags and i allowed him to because of how exhausted I was. It felt like I had pulled all of my muscles. I'm so tired, I say to myself. We were on the 18th floor, so we took the elevator. It was just me and him.

"El.. how have you been? I know it's been a long time, I should've contacted you."

He tried to stir up a conversation. I rolled my eyes discreetly and finally decided to say something back.

"I'm fine. Dont call me El anymore."

Though, it is a special name, but we're not together anymore. There's no reason for him to be calling me that. I was so close to cussing him out, but the tiredness got the best of me. We made it. I opened the door, to see a bunch of men cheering me on. They were wearing the same kit and Dominik was. I'm assuming this is the rest of the team.

"Everybody, I'd like to introduce you to my daughter. Eleanor Novak Dalic."

My dad says, he greets me with a warm smile and hug. At first I ignored it but this time he leaned in, so I hugged him back. I examine the players as one of the players caught my eye. His hair came up to his neck, his moustache had been shaved off but it was in the middle of growing back, and his dimples stood out a lot. We made eye contact for around a minute. God, he's beautiful.

"Give me your bags, you'll have to be sharing a room if that's okay, so go into the one just down the corridor."

My dad says, as he takes my luggage from my hands, and leads me to the room. It was really big. In fact, bigger than my own room back home. I was surprised but Im so relieved that the room is really nice. The bathroom is huge too. As I'm about to walk in, the door opens, and I see him. The sweet looking guy. I don't even know his name. He was wearing a white tight, fitted shirt which made him look way more sexier, and black shorts that laid just above his knees. His toothbrush was in his mouth and he looked at me, smiled and went back to the sink so he could clean up.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to."

I say politely.

"All good Eleanor."

His voice had such a sweet, honey like tone to it. It wasn't too deep, it wasn't too high pitched. It was like a harmony. And he even remembers my name? The way he said it, God it's been 10 minutes and I'm already falling for this guy.

"Looks like we'll be sharing a room." He looks up at me and slightly smiles, raising his eyebrows at me.

We're gonna be sleeping. On the bed. The same bed. Together. I mean, it'll be a great way to get to know him, right? I'm hoping I don't make it too awkward.

As I'm laying in bed, I can't help but think of Dominik. I forgot how much I missed him, but I forgot how much of a bitch he is. He hasn't changed one bit, and fun fact, him and my best friend broke up a month ago. I did feel emotional, but I had to put on an act because he was getting in my bed. The guy I'm sharing the room with.

"Oh and by the way, my names Luka. Luka Modric. "

He says before I could even ask.
Luka. That's a nice name.

"I know." He says, scoffing, and gives me a sassy look.

Shit. I wasn't supposed to say that out loud. But whyd he scoff? And what's with the attitude? Whatever, I just need some sleep. I lay back down, and just before I doze off, I hear a something being whispered, not in my ear but it felt very close.

LUKAS POV

I'm gonna have to be sharing my room with my coaches daughter. Interesting. Eleanor. That's her name. She gets comfy, and dives right under the covers.

"You're cute." I whisper, making sure she's asleep so she doesn't hear me. I switch the lamp off next to me, put my phone on charge and I finally got some sleep.

ELEANORS POV

"You're cute." I hear. Butterflies swooned over my stomach. Surely he was talking to me, right? There's no one else in room. I had already put my head under the covers, so I didn't say anything to make it look like I'm sleeping. He seems... reserved. That's what I'm into. I rub my eyes and I was finally able to shut my eyes properly and sleep.
