I couldn't focus on anything but him. There was so much tension, but I'm not complaining. He slowly moved away and we were no longer.. you know. He rolled to the other side of the bed so he could pick his shirt up and put it on. I didn't know what to do really, so I walked out of our room and headed to the sitting. I could hear Lukas footsteps behind me.
"You look good Eleanor, especially in that hoodie."
Luka says sitting directly opposite me. Gosh, how many times is he gonna say that? This is his like 10th time or whatever.
Everyone's heads shot up and all eyes were on me.
He knows what he's doing."But hey isn't that your hoo-"
Joško tried speaking but just before he could finish his sentence, Luka interrupted him.
I smiled at Joško because he's genuinely such a sweetheart, and it was just a little funny because he's so innocent."That's what makes her look even better."
This man sure knows how to give a girl butterflies because what the fuck.
No. I mean, he's kind of a jackass, but he's so.. sophisticated? I don't even know if my thoughts are making sense. There's still a a lot that I don't know about him, but I'm going to find out soon anyways.Dominik is sitting diagonally across me. He had a very straight and serious look on his face, as if he's not here to play any games. Wonder what's ruffled his feathers. I don't even care, he's not my priority.
My phone starts buzzing.
"Ill be back I've got to take this!"
"Hello?"
"Eleanor is that you?"
I could recognise that voice from anywhere. It was her!
"JULIANA?!"
"How are you doing mi amor! I'm flying to Russia in 2 days! I heard that you're also there. I can't wait to see you! Oh and, how's things with your dad?"
Juliana is my best friend. We're practically sisters. We met when we were just 4 years old. Her dad and my dad are super close, and her mum is basically like mine.
"Surprisingly okay. He's actually the one who wanted me to come. He booked me a ticket and everything. It was kind of strange.. no I'm still finding it strange. We haven't had a proper conversation in months and now all of a sudden he's booked me a ticket to Russia for the World Cup. Isn't that strange?"
I say as I sit myself down on the bed in a different room. I was fiddling with my coins that were in my pocket because I've finally gotten the chance to talk about this to someone and I'm so glad it's Juliana.
"Honey I'll be there asap and then you can tell me all the deets okay! I have some stuff to say about our dads but it's something that should be discussed face to face. You'll be fine!"
"Yeah you're right Juls."
"When am I ever wrong.
I'll see you soon, okay? I love you Elle.""Haha. I love you too Juls."
I cut the call and put my phone away.
Juls is literally that one friend you need. She's like everything in one which makes her so special.
What seemed peculiar is that I wasn't sure if I was in the right room.
"I'm not."
