We locked eye contact.
I couldn't focus on anything else. He didn't move his position for a solid 2 minutes, neither did I. I know this was just a revenge thing to get back at my ex, but why am I starting to catch feelings for him. I know I shouldn't be, but still. There's something that's genuinely so different about him; his aura. His aura and his persona.

LUKAS POV

Me and Eleanor were standing face to face, as I kept eye contact with her. If I'm gonna be completely honest, she's cute. The more I looked at her, the more my feelings for her changed.
I know this was all just for revenge or whatever, but I think this is going to lead to something else, and I'm eager to find out what exactly that'll be. It's probably what I'm thinking right now.
This is going to be fun. I broke eye contact first. She let out a sigh.

ELEANORS POV

"You should get going, you don't wanna miss your meeting, Captain."

I said as I quickly looked away.

"Captain?"

"Go, we'll talk later."

He kept a straight face, but I could tell he was trying to hide in a smile. I think he liked that.

"Come back here right after the meeting. It ends in 15 minutes."

"Why?"

I asked out of curiosity. His tone was so... demanding. He said it in such a stern manner. What could it possibly be that he wanted? Does he wanna stop the revenge plot? God I'm starting to overthink again. My mouth opened so I could ask again, but it closed the second he took a step closer. And another step. And another step. And another step.

God he loves doing this doesn't he.

Each step he took, the more I could feel his stare inside of me. Like, inside of my soul.
He puts his hands behind his back, bends his knees so we're the same height, and moved his face a little further away. Except he looked down at my lips.
Butterflies didn't even feel like butterflies anymore. They felt like eagles.

He laughed.

"Don't you want to sleep, Eleanor?"

Shit.

"No yeah obviousl-"

"What were you thinking?"

SHIT.

"Just go."

I raised my voice at him. I was starting to get irritated. Not because of him. Not even because of this. Ugh I don't know. I'm not falling for him, am I?

He stares at me for a couple seconds more, and just as he exits the door, he looks back one more time, smirking, and gave me a wink before running back.

Has he any idea what that wink can do to a person.

"You liiikeeeeeeee him."

I heard from down the living room. My jaw dropped in awe. Who was that.
I peek my head out to see Joško still standing there, putting a little grin on his face.
