FAYRE'S POV
It was a very sunny day. I loved sunny days so much. They're so beautiful that I want to trample on them before anyone else does! Unlike lower vampires, pureblood vampires, like me, don't have to worry about the sun burning us or some garlic!
(I'm so hungry. I haven't drunk blood in DAYS! Biting someone is risky because everyone has their buddy next to them. But, today, I got a baseball bat and my shotgun in case there are any witnesses!) I smiled, showing my razor-sharp fangs.
I strolled down the roads of Japan and saw a single person observing(?) a monument. I got closer and the sign wrote: Honno-ji. I sneaked behind the person as quietly as I could but the person quickly turned back.
"What are you trying to do?" He asked with a flat expression.
I almost panicked but commanded, "You are to forget about this. Say your name."
My command worked like clockwork and this strange man introduced himself.
"Hello, miss. My name is Sasuke Sarutobi. What is yours?"
"My name is Fayre Abelian. It is a pleasure to meet you." I said, with a constructed smile to try to earn his trust.
He was about to say something else but a loud, sudden lightning bolt struck down on the monument sign.
BANG!
I screamed out of shock when Sasuke disappeared and I was falling endlessly until I hit a floor of a weird-looking building.
(What the hell is this? I just wanted some food, damn...)
The building was ON FIRE. My lungs were sobbing, but I saw a black-haired man.
(Is he... sleeping? I already saw how stupid mortals were, but this...?)
I shook the man awake and screamed, "WAKE UP! The building is on fire!"
For some reason, he STILL didn't hear me so I dragged the man out of the fire and tossed him down the stairs because he was so heavy.
(Ugh... I would have been able to control him to wake up but I need blood..)
I grimaced as my hunger only grew more and more. The man woke up and when he saw me by his side glaring at him, he just looked amused.
"I saved you, can you at least thank me or something? Why are you even smirking?" I asked, suddenly even more exasperated with the man.
"Heh, can't believe there's a woman in this world who can talk to me with such boldness." he grinned.
"Just tell me your name," I said, glowering at him.
"Tell me yours first." He said smiling.
"The name's Fayre Abelian."
"I'm Oda Nobunaga. Are you from around here?"
(Well, technically I am! However, even my lacking lessons in ancient Japanese history told me that Nobunaga shouldn't be alive right now...)
I ignored his question and asked him, "What is the year?"
He looked at me like I grew two heads but said, "The year is 1582."
(WHAT?! Well, now I certainly can't use Japan as my background... Hmm... I'll just pretend to be from Paris.)
"...Thank you. Now, I will be going." I said, trying to run away as fast as possible until two men dashed towards Nobunaga-
"LORD NOBUNAGA! Are you okay?!" A brown-haired man cried out, with a terrified look on his face.
