FAYRE'S POV

I was absolutely shocked when I saw Kenshin, Shingen, and Sasuke. They also looked equally surprised by seeing me. I took a seat at their table and waved awkwardly at them. That was when Shingen winked at me and took my hands into his own before a handsome smile shined on his beautiful face.

"We are blessed today by having a goddess in our presence. She has given us the most wonderful treat, and I will forever cherish it. Her beauty alone has no rivals and her ruby red eyes are so captivating, I can feel myself melt-" Shingen said spouting out many, MANY compliments before I put my hand on his mouth to shut him up.

"Please stop, Shingen," I said with a flat expression on my face, gazing into his grey eyes.

"Of course, my stunning angel," Shingen said winking at me and taking his hands out of mine.

"Now, why are you guys in Azuchi?" I asked.

"We are here to collect information, Fayre. Lord Kenshin wanted to have sake and pickled plums so we came here because he said he liked this establishment." Sasuke said with his normal emotionless face.

"This place was where I met this woman. She completely skewered the rude men who didn't pay the owner at first and we dueled. She was pretty good..." Kenshin said with a cold shimmer in his heterochromatic eyes and his lips started to curve.

Shingen and Sasuke were definitely shocked by this revelation but stayed quiet as Kenshin and I kept talking to each other.

"Why are you smiling, Kenshin? You want to fight again or something?" I said tilting my head feigning innocence while smirking at him callously.

Sasuke and Shingen seemed slightly concerned by our conversation and tried to cool down the mood before Kenshin got too excited and demanded to fight them as well. I put my long, manicured nails on his chin, narrowed my eyes coquettishly, gave him a bewitching smile, and said, "Well, let's fight." I whipped out my sword before Sasuke suddenly got up and decided to move us to a far place in the forest so nobody would get hurt.

Sasuke pushed us into the forest while he and Shingen sat on tree stumps to watch the duel. I took my sword out once again and faced down Kenshin. He also had his beloved Himezuru Ichemonji in his hand and we smiled cruelly at each other, villainous smiles on our faces. Sasuke started the duel and Kenshin and I lunged at each other.

Kenshin was immediately on the offensive while I nimbly avoided his attacks with preciseness. I danced my way away from his strikes and started throwing in my strikes as well. Kenshin also dodged my attacks effortlessly and I decided this was the perfect time to throw one of my swords at his head, just inches off of his head.

I did just that and tossed my sword at him. It distracted him for a few seconds but that was all I needed. I used my powers to bring the sword back into my hands and I tackled Kenshin to the ground and put my sword to his throat. I gave him a flirty smile with my eyes narrowed into salacious slits. Kenshin looked shocked at what happened but he gave me a surprisingly... soft yet battle-crazed smile. He put his fingertips on my chin and made me look into his jade and sapphire eyes.

Our noses got closer and closer before they almost touched. He looked completely spellbound as if he was in a trance. His lips got closer to my red lips and we were about to kiss before a man carried me away from Kenshin. I was completely bewildered and looked behind me and saw Yukimura and how bright his rosy cheeks were. He had his eyes averted away from me the whole time and quickly let me go.

"...People in Azuchi only call you the Goddess of War not some enchantress...!" Yukimura stuttered and fumbled the words until he finally got them out.

"Hehe...! You're so adorable, Yukimura! Did you watch the duel as well? I didn't see you at the bar." I said with an amused grin on my face.

"'Goddess of War'?" Kenshin said, finally getting out of his trance and looking at me once again with impassive eyes.

"My Akazonae informed me that the Oda princess was recently considered the 'Goddess of War' after she fought hundreds of men in their skirmishes, survived a sword thrown at her temple, crushed that sword with her bare hands, and how she annihilated hundreds of men who invaded her room," Shingen said with a serious expression. His eyes narrowed at me as he looked at me suspiciously.

"So, YOU'RE the Oda princess that everyone in the town was talking about?! You certainly don't act like one. You go obliterate hundreds of men without blinking and now you try to seduce Lord Kenshin...!" Yukimura said, still very flustered from what he saw earlier.

"Lord Kenshin and Lord Shingen and Yukimura, Fayre IS the Oda princess. However, she means no harm. She won't tell the Oda about us." Sasuke said looking at me with a faint smile.

"How do you know that, Sasuke?" Kenshin puts his hands on his sword, ready to pull it out whenever the need comes.

"First, please remove your hands from your sword, and second, please listen to me. Anyway, Fayre is not a true princess, the Oda simply titled her as such to prevent any unnecessary problems and questions about why she resides in Azuchi Castle." Sasuke said trying to calm Kenshin down.

"Sasuke is right. I saved Nobunaga in Honno-ji without realizing it was him. Because of that, he gave me the title of princess. That's all." I said, confirming Sasuke's statements and hoping that would convince them that was all there is to it.

(I feel kinda bad lying because I am now Nobunaga's vassal, but that seems downright chaotic just thinking about it in my head. Then, I might really have to kill them!)

They seemed convinced and luckily dropped the subject. Shingen was teasing Yuki thoroughly while Sasuke tried to protect Yuki but tried his best to stay respectful to Shingen. Kenshin watched them with cool eyes while I said, "I have to go now, bye guys!" I waved happily at them before I walked away from the forest into the town.

THIRD PERSON POV

The four men watched Fayre's figure get smaller and smaller. They turned to Sasuke and Kenshin asked, "How long did you know Fayre?" He grabbed the hilt of his sword as he glared at Sasuke.

"Lord Kenshin, Fayre is a dear friend to me and I didn't want to throw her into harm's way. As you can see, she is trustworthy. Clearly, this isn't the first time you approached Fayre and she didn't report to Nobunaga about your presence in Azuchi." Sasuke said with a pacifying half-smile.

"The angel is the most ravishing princess there ever was. She was also very talented and quite fearless as well. The way she flung her sword very close to Kenshin's head was quite daring. She must also be the Goddess of Seduction! The way she danced from Kenshin's attacks and put Kenshin into an enchanted reverie was just esoteric and-!"

"Say any more and I will kill you," Kenshin said in a low, dangerous voice. He gripped his precious Himezuru Ichemonji's shaft and glowered at Shingen.

Shingen laughed it off and the four men were chatting amiably about the mystifying Fayre all the way back to the same bar to enjoy some more sake and other delicious delicacies.
