It Was Always You

Chapter 4

Emmas POV

I haven't seen Liam and Niall in forever and i missed them. i was laying in bed watching iCarly when i herd voices coming down the hall. i hope it wasn't the nurse i didn't want to do another test so pretended to act asleep. the voices got closer and closer. they were male voices. Maybe they were Liam and Niall! as the voices where right by the door i could hear the male voices and they were not Liam or Niall.

"Ohh little Charlotte. you awake" one voice said followed by two laughs. i was scared who were they. as they walked past me i cracked my eyes open. i could see the one who said the 'joke' he was tall had brown curly hair. i couldn't really see his face from the angle i was at but he scared me. the two males behind him were shorter than him and had quiffs.

"Charlotte, you my friend are one lucky girl." they curly head one chuckled and waved his finger to her. "If it wasn't for you friends you would be dead." the same man said walking over to her bed and sitting in the seat. he took his feet and put them on Char to rest them. "Char i promise you, on my life, as soon as you get out of this hospital we will be waiting outside ready.." the man chuckled again taking his feet off her and standing up. he bent down to her level. Wait what? what would they do when she got out? "ready to make sure you never come back out of this dump." he said. the other two boys laughed as they walked out. I'm now sacred what if they come back and I'm not asleep and hurt me because they cant hurt her. Wheres Liam and Niall when i need them.

Liams POV

"Hello Laura!" I smiled and waved to the lady at the front desk.

"Hi Liam." Laura waved back at me

 "How are you doing?"

"Pretty good.  How about you Liam?"

"Not well. Very worried about Char.  She is like my life right now." I honestly think Char is my life.  We have been best friends for awhile, but I feel like I want to be more with Char.  I want to be there for her. Do I?  I think so.  This is just so confusing.  I don't know what to think anymore.  Is Char just such a beautiful strong person but I can't ruin our friendship it I tell her about my feelings towards her.  But what if she felt the same way?  What if she felt the same way I feel?  Well I don't want to figure out.  She is too special to lose over this.

"I'll just be going to Char's room.  I guess I'll see you later."

"Alright.  I'll see you later Liam."  She is so nice.  She is always smiling.  But I guess it might be her job to do that.  Always make people feel happy.  I don't know. as i walked to the elevator a women in all white was waiting to. 

"Hello, miss'" i waved she chuckled and went back to staring at the door that wasn't open. when the elevator came i walked out waved bye to the pretty nurse and proceeded through the hallway. i couldn't look to my left or my right to all the patients in pain or slowly dieing. i finally got to the room and saw niall watching the football match. Emma and char were sleeping.

"Hey mate. want to watch the football game?" Niall patted the sit next to him. i sat down and watched the game. about a half hour of silence I know something was wrong with Niall.

"Niall, is there something bothering you?" i tapped him on the shoulder. niall didnt respond he just looked down. "Niall?" i said once last time. he was still looking down i was nerves.

"Liam i need to talk to you." he said as he slowly got up from the chair and walked over to the window to look out.

------------Nialls POV---------------------

"Liam i need to talk to you.' i said as i got up from the warm chair that sitting at and walked slowly over to the window. i looked out to the city. i was scared to tell him. i know Liam has feelings for char so if i tell him this things wont go good.

"sure what is it mate." Liam jumped out of his chair and stood by it. chills ills shoot down my spin.

"Liam, when i walked into the room today Emma told me something." i paused he stood there raising an eyebrow that told me to continue. "She, told me that the other day when we weren't here." i paused again. i looked at his face i could tell he was getting angry with me for holding back. "That, Harry, Louis, and Zayn all came by and told Char that she better not wake up and if she did she would never leave again." i said as fast as i could.

"They, who,say,what?" Liam said he was obviously speechless

"I said, emm-" i was interrupted by as Liam

"No, i know what you said, i just mean.." he paused his eyebrows went down to show that he was angry. next thing you know he bolted it. he ran out the door and down the hall. i had to stop him from doing something he'll regret later.

"LIAM!!" i screamed as i ran after him down the hall. he turned left to the elevators but had no time to wait he ran through the fire exit door and down the stairs "LIAM STOP!" i screamed as we went down the stairs. "LIAM LETS TALK ABOUT THIS!" i screamed as we entered the quiet lobby that was some what busy. i chased Liam out to the front where he stopped dead in his tracks. "Liam slow down." i said between breaths

"No Niall, I'm sick of it." he said. we wasn't breathing heavily like me which i though was the weirdest thing in the world because we ran halfway across the hospital.

"sick of what?" i said now finally catching my breath and standing up from the hunched position.

"Niall its not fair. first they try to kill char then they send her in a coma. she as no life to herself because when she walks she has to look behind her just to make sure her tormentors aren't following her. they went into her room and thrented her whILE SHES IN A COMA MAY I ADD! There a threat to Emma who has no clue who they even are and what there place is and for all we know they probably killed chars mother! I'm sick of standing back and watching them do this because char told us to stay out!" Liam hissed as he pointed at me. i could tell he was pissed so i stood my distance.

"And what are you gann-" i was once again interrupted the second time today.

"Hello lads." me and Liam looked at each other because we knew exactly who it was then we looked to the left to see the one and only Harry Styles. its the first time me and Liam where actually face to face before we split up.

~~Flashback~~~

"Hello mates" Zayn said as he walked over to the lunch table. me Harry, Liam, Zayn, Louis, and Char were best friends. we always hung out together.

"HE WHAT!" Char screamed as she stood from her chair as she was on the phone

"What happened Char?" Louis and Liam said at the same time.

"Harry can we have a word" she grinned her teeth together as she put the phoe  down on the table.

"sure.." he said worried. As they left she left her phone we look at who she was talking to. it was her mom.. that's weird.  hope char didn't find out about Harry's little crush on her. i looked at the door in which harry and char stood out as you could see her yelling at him and then him yelling back. Harry came storming in the door.

"What happened?" i asked harry. he stopped from picking up his lunch.

"Niall shut up no one wants to hear you talk!" harry screamed at me.

"whoa there chill out man!" Liam said defending me.

"And what are you going to do about it" harry said spiting in Liam's face.

------end of flashback------

"What do you want!" I hissed at him. harry just chuckled.

"I thought i told you to shut up 4 years ago Blondy?" harry hissed back then chuckled after.

"That was four years ago!" Liam screamed back defending my back as though the argument that just happened never did happen.

"Im sorry what?" zayn said spiting in  his face then laughing .Liam went to lift his arm to punch the tormentors in the face. harry shook his long boney finger.

"Not here.." harry whispered in his ear.
