See You

Hooh! After that exam, I realized I should read more and in advance for me to not cram in every exams.

Ayan kasi kaiisip yan sa kanya, di naman iniisip. Kastigo ko sa sarili ko.

"Here are your scores in our last quiz.  Nothing changes. Ms. Octavio again got perfect score." Ma'am announces.

"Well what's new. Siya naman lage nagta-top sa mga exams at quizes natin" Venice sheepishly smile at me making me laugh.

" Ma'am it would be great if you announces me to be the top. Lage nalang siya." Cray.

"Oo nga." It's boring."Mariel butted in smiling.

" Well it's not my fault you did not study hard. Harder. Than. I. Could. " I smirked at them.

The whole class erupted into laugher making ma'am Zamora shook her head.

"Shary's right though. You could be like her or surpass her if you just study hard." Now for our next lesson, it is all about...

As ma'am Zamora discusses another lesson, I can't contain my happiness because of the result.

I got excited to write it in my journal for remembrance.

" Shar, samahan mo ko dali." Excited na sabi ni Mariel habang hawak ang kamay ko at halos takbuhin na ang hallway ng education building. Buti nalang at wala ng masyadong estudyante dahil hapon at uwian na.

"Saan ba tayo oi. Hoy!"I  reacted when I saw that we are at Bennie's building.

"Wait lang. Chill. May kikitain lang ako" she answered excitement is very evident in her face.

"Gagawin daw akong model ni Eunice. Gagawa kasi sila ngayon ng sarili nilang design. Ako lang nakita niya, so no choice."she exasperatingly sigh.

"Ah okay. Gandahan mo ang pagpose. Baka pumangit design niya. I jokingly said while smirking.

"Ay grabe sya oh ikaw na."she rolled her eyes smiling. " Don't worry. I got this. Ako pa.' she added smiling showing her arm muscle.

" Oo na" I laughingly agreed giving up.

"Ahm hi excuse me!" We heard a girly tone at our side.

"Wha- what, yes?" I responded my voice quivering.

" Ano bayan couz, kung makapang gulat ka naman! Mariel glared at her cousin.

" Hehe. Peace. Eh malay ko bang magugulatin pala yang friend mo" she bitchily replied giving me a plastic smile.

"Hehe." I plastically greeted too while responding, "Okay lang , kasalanan ko pa pala to ngayon."

"Aba't, ikaw na babaita ka! Kung di kalang kaibigan nitong pinsan ko. Grrr!" Eugenio A.K.A Eunice spatted at me rolling his eye.

" Fine. Eugenio. Tigil na. Pagod na ako." I sighed.

"Anyare, te? Haggard tayo dito na side!"

"Eh sino bang hindi kung hinugot lang ako dun at tinakbo dito huh?" pinanlakihan ko ng mata si Mariel na tumawa lang.

"Tapos na ba kayo dito?"mahinhing bati ng isang tao sa likod namin.

Napataas kilay ako kasi parang familiar.

When I looked at my back I saw Bennie. Eunice classmate. Ang mga gawa niyang designs ay trending sa school, everytime may  ipagagawa sa kanila.

Hi Bennie. I'm Mariel. Nice to meet you. Pinsan ako ni Eunice. This is my friend pala, Shary."pakilala pa sa akin.

" Hi."Keme kong bati sa kanya.

Ba't feel kong tumabi sa kanya. Gosh! Kahiya! I tried to hide my emotion by smiling a little.

"Hello ladies. I assume Mariel will be Eunice model. Right?

Tipid akong tumango tsaka ngumiti. I want to remember every expression he shows para may pambaon ako mamaya pag -uwi.

"Yes. It's me. Excited ako but nervous at the same time. Advice naman dyan para mawala ang kaba ko oh?" she jokingly asks.

I tried to get Mariel's attention by looking at her para tumahimik siya pero walang effect.

Hays talaga. Kahiya!

"Oh well just be confident within yourself." He replied.

I stopped what I'm trying to do to listen to him.

"Just own  not just the outfit but also the stage. Makikita kasi ang ganda ng damit kung komportable ka tsaka masaya sa ginagawa. Isa pa, focus on your goal: to showcase your outfit. And magagawa mo lang sya if your are yourself: Happy, carefree and confident" He smiled after saying.

"Wow naman! Ang galing! No wonder you're the King and Queen of Fashion. Gamay na gamay eh" kinikilig na saad ni Mariel.

" By the way, kayo na talaga ni Stephen?"She ask randomly na napatingin ako sa kanya agad- agad.

"Mariel, ano ba?" Pagsuway ko sa kanyang may kasamang curiousity at pait.

Naman eh sa harap ko pa talaga no! Napabuntonghininga nalang ako sa isip ko.

"Well, if you're that curious, I'd say...

Wow pabitin pa.

"We're not in a romantic relationship." He said looking at me first before looking at Mariel.

"He's just my model and a friend." He added.

" Weeeh?" Diretsong sagot ni Mariel while I looked at him curiously.

"Oo nga." He said laughing while looking at me for a moment." May girlfriend ako" he added murmuring and wink at me

Hmmm. Ba't ako kinilig. I said in my mind.

"Wait. Come again?"Mariel ask, not getting his words.

"Don't mind it. Hindi ko sya boyfriend" he smiled cutely while standing up.

"I need to go. I che- check ko pa design at model ko eh. See you " he smirked on us and walked away without waiting for our reply.

I saw him looking at his phone making me watch mine too.
