No one's Pov:

The boy jolted up from his spot on the couch and turned to look at his parents. "What, why?" Will asked. "Why do I have to leave the country? Why can't I just go to a different state!" He said, panic rising in the boy's voice. "Cause baby, they can help you." His mom answered. "Help me with what? Cure my sickness of liking other boys!" he retorted. "No, of course not sweetie, we don't care who you love. People should never be  ashamed of who they love, whether they love a boy or a girl,  regardless of who they are." She stated, firm in her belief on the matter. "Then why are you pushing me away?" Will asked, almost on the brink of tears. He started to cave in on himself a little and sat back down on the couch. "It's so that they can help you up here" she said, lightly tapping a finger onto his forehead. "I know this isn't ideal Will, but it's for the best." Joyce replied, pulling her son into a warm hug. "Those people will know how to take better care of you, the people here aren't as qualified and don't have as advanced technology as they do overseas." Hopper, the boy's step-father added, rubbing the big on his back as a way of trying to comfort the crying boy. "So, that's it your giving me away, just like that?! Why can't you guys help me, mom did it before!" the child protested while sobbing into his mother's embrace.

Despite Will's knowledge of his situation he refused to believe it. He didn't want to believe it. He just wanted to stay home with his mom, Jonathan, Hopper, and El (Eleven), in a place where there was no upside down or Vena or mind flayer or supernatural powers! He just wanted a normal life. Nowadays that seemed like a fantasy.
