She was never a social butterfly. Despite this, her mind was always wrapped around her looks, but not in the way most girls her age did. Cecilia was insecure about almost everything considering her look, especially her eyes. She was always bullied because of her eyes; she had heterochromia, one eye was a light blue that occasionally changed to a light green and the other was a hazel brown. Her normal attire was a pair of denim overalls over a white T-Shirt and black hi-top converse. She wore her blonde shoulder-length hair in a high ponytail with her bangs hanging low, and sometimes you'd see her wearing round gold colored glasses. Cecilia had a sweet smile and always looked happy, even when she wasn't.

Her personality was quite a funny one, but she never opened up to enough people to let it shine. She had an active imagination and loved making up fake characters and making them go on adventures.

She had a few friends, but she only had one best friend: Felix McDougle. Felix was always there for Cecilia, no matter what happened(Vice versa, too). Except for one time, she wasn't able to make it.

"Cecilia, Come here!"

"What is it?" Cecilia asked, not looking up from her book.

"I found something!" Felix explained.

Cecilia marked her spot, got up, and put the book in her seat. "Seriously dude, what is it?"

Felix was on his knees gazing at something on the ground. When he knew Cecilia was next to him, he grabbed her hand and pulled her down to sit with him. Cecilia noticed what he was looking at–

She broke the memory.

The odd thing about Cecilia was her memory. She always had a good one, and could always think of something she already knew on the spot. When she was at school, she usually learned faster than the other students. It's like she'd just absorb the information quickly, which usually gave her A's on her assignments, also resulting in bullies forcing her to do their homework for them.

As long as she could remember, she lived in a small orphanage located in Victoria, Canada. It was the only home she'd ever known, until the summer when she turned 14; she was transferred to another orphanage in Vancouver. Though she was sad to say goodbye to her few friends, she thought she'd stay in touch with them.

She was thinking about them almost the entire way to Vancouver. The awesome memories she'd made with them, their humor as a group, Cecilia would miss them all. But she also knew she wouldn't be able to visit Felix for a very long time. After about an hour of staring out of the window next to her, she decided to draw something with the limited amount of art supplies she brought with her on this three-hour-god-forsaken-bus-ride.

The creature she drew was magnificent. It was a made-up creature(or so she thought)that had the body of a human but had wings, like a not-so-accurate angel. The "angel" had tan skin and hot pink hair. She put it in her backpack and didn't think about it again for the rest of the road trip.

She leaned her head against the window and closed her eyes.

"McDougle!"

Who said that?

"McDougle!!"

Cecilia opened her eyes. Who was yelling out McDougle?

Was Felix here too?

"McDouble!" A child was crying to his father, who looked extremely embarrassed.

Cecilia closed her eyes again.

After what seemed like forever, the bus stopped and the driver called out "Vancouver's Home for Young Women!"
