My Golden Guard

Its been like a week and a half since the whole petrification ceremony.  And well Since, mom almost got petrified...

" Y/N! "

I turned around, i was in the hallway walking down to get breakfast when luz called me.

"Look over hereee, mama. This is y/n. daughter of the strongest witch alive shes got super cool witch spells and she's super cool and nice just like eda and a complete baddie~"

I didnt know what to say so i just smiled akwardly haha uh hi. luz then paused her video and ran down to eda, I liked having her around. I didnt go to school and I wasnt around many kids growing up after all.

I sighed as i see king walk down, oh hey king. "Hey y/n "

Oh hey king. I say happily as he walks down stairs.

I follow behind as I walked down stairs to see a mess of apple blood,

uhhhh eda? Whats this???

"I tried using my magic again kiddo, but to no luck i failed."

I can tell. I say sheepishly, but its ok mom im sure you'll get your magic back sooner or later plus you got me i can totally help you out. I made a circle and suddenly everything was clean.

"Well your right kid."

I knew I wasnt edas biological kid i was abandoned and she took me in. A part of me did wish she was my real mother but no matter what biological or not shes my mom and in my eyes, that would never change. So I didnt have to long for something I had, a mother. I dont have to wish for some biological resemblance or anything because that's not what mattered to me and it never will.

I was outside and luz was still recording, I was watching eda make, a weapon?

"Hey kinggg~ did you know that apples a hat"

My eyes widened,

wait king NO! Me and luz ran towards him.

"Luz!Time to bring these bad boys to the market"

"Ugh eda do you own anything that isnt covered in feathers?"

" Well i had to deal with a curse for 30 years i think you can handle a few feathers. Y/n hurry up i gotta do some selling at the market."

Coming! I said

"Wow emperor belos really is taking over..."

I looked over to Luz as she said that.

Hm, i guess he is luz, i said while looking around.

Hmm, maybe we should run away or move far away... I mumbled.

Suddenly I look over to eda and laugh at her kicking a guy with belos merchadise all over him.

Moments later were waiting by eda as we get payed,

"Your payment". A guy at the stand said

"A single snail? Are you kidding me! " eda shouted

"Oh im sorry i wasnt done yet the guy then proceeds to split the snail in half"

My jaw dropped, HALF??? WHAT A SCAM.

"WHAT YOU CANT DO THIS TO ME!!" eda shouted

"DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM!"

"yea your eda the owl lady what are you gonna do now, we all know your powerless now."

Eda scoffed, she looked annoyed and tried casting a spell on him but failed.

Soon then eveyone was talking and saying how embarrassing it was,

I looked at the guy, I was definitely going to give him the nastiest spell I could think of. But luz stopped me as she spoke

" whoah we wouldn't want wanted posters of you to"

Ugh cmon...

I frowned annoyed as I looked at aunt lilith for back up.

"My my edalyn atleast my name still comands respect"

aunt lilith said while posing infront of a poster of her self. But then it had gone to flames...

"haha your a traitor!" King said as he laughed, I laughed slightly with him.

"WHA! WHAT IS THIS ANARCHY!, WHO TOLD YOU TO DO THIS-"

soon then the places where liliths posters had been were replaced by ones with the golden gaurd.

"Hmmm the golden gaurd... did you meet him in the covens by any chance lilith? " luz said curiously.

"Unfortunately yes i did he always got special treatment cause he was the geNiUS TEeeN pRoDigY but hes really just a brat."

She threw the crumbled up poster away only for it to return in her face and staying there

"Hey I know! Said luz lets go bounty hunting lets take on the biggest bounty it'll be great!"

Me and eda just looked at luz as she ran to the board full of bounty requests.

"AHA! theres something called a selkidomus ravaging boats up and down the coast well be on a high seas adventure"

As if on cue both me and eda looked at eachother. "Mmmmmm no." eda said

yep definitely no, period. I said.

"We need to keep a low profile luz"

As eda said that i walked to where aunt lilith was, i sat in the cart while eda talked to luz and as she came back eda did look worried about the whole money thing. She always tried her best to put food on the table and now with an extra kid/human who probably cant digest food as well here, was going to be even more difficult. I then looked at aunt lilith but I noticed she really couldn't speak with the poster on her face so I took the poster and folded it up and put in my coat ( or whatever you want it to be)

We then left in the cart.

Something about that golden gaurd was interesting... I never really saw him on posters so I didnt even think such a thing existed, a golden guard? Does he command armys or what? I shrugged it off as we left, it's not like I'm ever going to know...
