Chapter 7

Emily
I woke up early at 7:00am and I took my dog missy for a walk when I got back I got in the shower I stared to sing along to the music playing on my phone by the time I got out of the shower it was 8:20 am I decide I would go get a bowl of cereal and tidy up the kitchen I went back up stairs and tidied my room and bathroom once I had all that done I got changed out of my long t-shirt and pulled on a pair of leggings and a long black shirt a pair of vans and a hoodie I grabbed my car keys and headed to the mall I got a few bits to set the table like candles , napkins etc. I went into Forever 21 to get a few tops and I got a cute little floral dress for the summer I went to go get my nails done I headed to the grocery store to get what I needed for dinner I decided I would make lasagne , homemade chips , salad and some garlic bread and for dessert I picked up Oreo ice creams and i got a few snacks and junk food for after the dinner On my way home I stopped at Starbucks

when I got back to the house my mums car was there " shit they aren't supposed to be home till tomorrow " I opened up the front door and shouted " hello " my mum was coming down the stairs with a suitcase " hey sweetie ... I came by to pick up my suitcase I was out of town on work yesterday and your dad went to New York to see shawn so I'm going to fly back up now I'll be back on Wednesday sometime " I looked at her with relief on my face thank god I said under my breath my mum looked at me " are you okay Emily " I smiled " yep I'm fine ... Super don't worry about me " she laughed " well okay then we'll I better get going I'll see you Wednesday " I turned and waved at her as she went out the door " bye mum " Oh my god that was close how awkward would it have been my mum here and me trying to plan the diner once I seen her car pull away I ran out and took in the shopping I looked at the time on my phone " 4:00pm shit " I went to the kitchen and started cooking like crazy I had the lasagne in the oven ready to go all I had to do was put it on before austin came I ran upstairs did my hair and make up I went for dark lipstick even though my dad doesn't like it he calls it my " goth look " I braid my hair across the frond and tied it up into a bun I put on the red dress I wore one of those stick on bra things cause the dress was very low around the boob area I put on a long gold chain to kinda mask how low it was and I put on my Louis Vuittons when I got down stairs I put the lasagne on and began prepping the salad and I put it in the fridge I chopped the potatoes to get them ready to place in the fryer I set the table once I had that done I heard a knock at the door I ran trying not to break my neck in my Louis vuttions I opened the door it was austin he was holding a bunch of roses and a box of chocolates he looked me up and down and smiled "Emily you look so good "he said bitting his lip I laughed " you don't look too bad mahone " he laughed " why thank you ... Oh these are for you " he handed me the flowers And the chocolates I placed them down on the table on the hallway austin came beside me and pulled me in towards him and he kissed me on the lips softly and slowly " I missed you " he said smiling at me " I missed you more " he looked at me " impossible " I took him by the hand and led him into the kitchen " I see its your turn to take me by the hand " austin said laughing
i opened the kitchen door austin smiled " what is going on here " I laughed " I thought it would be cute to Cook you dinner and ask you to prom " I bit my lip I wasn't supposed to say that austin laughed when he seen my facial expression " I guess you were supposed to leave the prom thing to later " I laughed " yes such a shit way to ask a person " austin walked towards me and lifted my head up and kissed me on the lips " no it's not and of course I would go to prom with you " I looked at him " but you don't know the date yet ... You could be busy " austin looked at me " Emily what ever I have planned I will cancel it just so I can spend prom with you .... You are more important " a smile slowly appeared on my face and I wrapped my arms around austin I let go " shit the lasagne and the garlic bread " I ran over to the oven and took the lasagne and garlic bread out thank god it wasn't burnt I put the chips on to Cook " austin looked at me " need help " I smiled " you wanna take the salad out of the fridge that would be great thanks " he made his way over to the fridge and took the salad out I dished the dinner out on to two plates I told austin to sit down and I'll take it down to him I placed the plates on the table and I took a seat austin looked at me " I'm so sorry I was so busy this week I felt so bad .... I'm such a shit boyfriend " I pulled a face boyfriend we never discussed we were a thing but I guess we are austin looked at me " what did I say something wrong " I shook my head " no ..... No well we never said we were official so I wasn't sure " austin looked at me and smiled " I guess we didn't did we .... I just kinda assumed I don't know .... Well is it okay that I'm your boyfriend like if you don't want me I can leave now " austin said laughing I looked at him and smiled " Austin ... Don't say that !! Of course I want you to be my boyfriend like I have no choice in the matter since you already said you were " Austin laughed " I'm sorry ... I don't know why I just assumed im not used to the whole relationship thing " I smiled " me either " I picked up my fork and began to eat the lasagne austin looked at me " it's not bad .... I thought it would be shit no offence I just didn't think you could cook " I folded my arms " excuse you mahone !! I can cook you need to learn to stop making assumptions "
Once we had our dinner and dessert we went up stairs to my room to watch friends on Netflix and we cuddled up to one another my head on his chest listening to his heart beat austin was rubbing my back austin " Austin I don't want this to end " he looked down at me " me either " Austin is heading to LA for the week and I won't get to see him I suppose we could face time eventually we both drifted off to sleep the warmth of Austins body next to mine made me feel safe
