I rushed downstairs and walked into the kitchen where grandma was.
"Grandma, I'm going to the park, I will be back soon." I leaned on the wall.
"Alright Hun, but while your out can you stop by the store? We still need milk." She said as she wiped her hands on a towel.
"Yea, alright," I hugged her. "Be back in a little bit"
I slipped on my assassins creed hoodie and black converse. I rushed out the door and hopped on my skateboard and started riding to the park.
I stared at my hand and didn't pay attention to where I was going, and I ran into someone.
"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!" I got off the person to see who it was. It was Tiffany.
"You better be, bitch." She screamed as she wiped off the dust on her blouse.
"What ever." I looked down and it back on my skateboard.
"Hold on," she grabbed my shoulder and threw me on the ground.
I fell on my back and looked at her.
"Where are you going?" She asked, with one of her hands on her hips.
"None of your business." I got up and got on my board and rode off.
I cursed silently to my self.

Once I reached the park I hopped off my skateboard and went over the entrance.
There was a girl standing there. She looked well fed but was fit. She had really nice clothes on too.
The first thing I noticed was the matching bracelet, it was blue though.
I grabbed my skateboard and walked up to her.
"Hey." I said quietly.
"Hi!" She greeted back.
I sat there for a moment in awkward silence, I finally rolled up my sleeve and showed her the bracelet.
"So it's you!" She looked at me. "Great, I'm not going crazy!"
I just laughed quietly.
She grabbed my arm and pulled me into the woods by the park. We started running for a while.
We stopped running after about three minutes.
I sat down on the ground but she just kept standing.
I looked up at her. "So, do you have like, powers?"
"I don't know." She shrugged.
"Well, I can move things." I stated.
"So can I, I'm pretty sure everyone can."
"I mean with my mind," I looked around. "Here watch."
I put my hand out towards a twig in front of me. It started floating and I moved it around a little bit. Then I finally dropped it.
She looked at her hands and copied me. But instead of making the stick float she zapped it.
"So you do have powers." I said.
"Well, yeah." She walked over to a little pond and sat near it.
I sat next to her, but not too close.
"So you can't move things with your mind." I looked at the pond.
"Yea, no telekinesis." She scooted closer to the pond.
I sat there in silence watching her. She placed her hand in the water. I noticed the bolts on her arms started glowing brighter. The water moved away from her hand.
After a while she took back her hand and the water went back to normal.
She looked at me and smiled.

After that we started walking back.
"Hey what time is it?" I asked.
"Um," she took out her phone. Mine was dead. "Oh no," she looked at me worried. "It's 5:03!" She started running. I ran after her.
"I'm sorry, I have to go!"
I stopped running and watched her leave. I sighed and started walking back to the entrance of the park.

Once I reached the entrance I gasped. My skateboard wasn't there anymore. My heart sunk into my stomach and I froze. I started panicking and crying.
My parents gave that to me the day before they died. That's why I always rode it. It was my favorite thing they ever gave me. Better than this stupid bracelet.
