Wretched Ones

See the weeping before you

they cry for your insolence

for your defilement of the broken seal

with broken tongues they curse

the one true

sinner filled with indolence

a truly wretched deal

made to never be reversed

with the thought of a preposterous eden

in mind

only for yourself to bask in its ingloroius light

devoid of all but the fruit that you ate

a deserted creed for your blasphemy to feed in

blind

to everything that transpired like blight

took hold of your eyes and devoured them of a silver plate
