Third Person POV

Y/N got up from their bed, yawning softly. Today was their first day in highschool, and they was super excited.

Y/N showered, dried themselves off, tied their Y/HC hair into a neat ponytail after brushing it, and wore their favourite outfit to school. It was nothing much, jeans and a cropped hoodie. They grabbed their headphones and phone and ran downstairs.

"Good morning Y/N. Did you sleep well?" Y/N's mother greets. Y/N smiled and nodded. They sat down and had the breakfast their mother prepared for them, thanked their mother for the food and left for school while listening to something on their headphones.

Upon reaching the school, and getting their locker number and class schedule, they go to keep their books in their locker and see a crowd a few feet away.

They frown softly as they recognise the person in the centre. It was Nick, the most popular guy in their middle school. Rumour had it that his parents were rich and he lived a lavish life. She scoffed at it. He was stuck up, rude and didn't care if he offended people. Right next to him was his best friend, Jeremy. They recalls that Jeremy was a few years older to them, but he was close to Nick as they were childhood friends. Nick also had a twin sister, Lili, who was a lot nicer than he was.

Y/N tried to walk through the crowd when they heard a voice.

"Oi! Y/N! Actually managed to pass middle school, huh? Shocker." They heard Nick say, as the rest of the group burst out laughing.

Y/N ignored him. So what if they weren't the smartest, they were able to get pretty good grades in the finals.

Y/N didnt think their opinion about Nick would ever change. After all, he's nothing but a douchebag who thinks only about himself. Right?

End of Chapter One. Hope you enjoyed.
