Part 5

Y/N changed back into their regular clothes and slammed their locker shut after putting a few things away, and found Lili eagerly waiting for them.

"Hi Y/N!"

"GAAAH! LILI! You almost gave me a heart attack."

"Oh, sorry! I was wondering if you wanted to head to the arcade with me and the guys after school?"

"Is this a prank?"

"No! I'm not that mean."

Y/N internally sighed. They could book a ride home incase it was a trick, anyway. So they decided to give it a shot.

"Alright then, why not."

"Sweet! I'll drop you, be ready by four, okay?"

"Alright then."

Y/N walked home and quickly sifted through their wardrobe to try and find a suitable outfit for the arcade. They finally settled on a loose tshirt and some wide legged jeans with patches sewn onto them. They put their head in a loose bun and grabbed their wireless head phones this time.

They stood outside their house when Lili arrived with her chauffeur. They used to to projects together in middle school, so Lili knew their adress. They got in the car, and noticed Lilis outfit. She wore a black tank top with camouflaged cargo pants, her hair tied in space buns.

Saying the car was nice would  be an absolute understatement.
It was 2022 Lamborghini Urus, painted specially black with dark tinted windows. On the inside, the car was lined with fake white  leather seats, and it smelled of citrus. It was clear this was her personal car, that she could use to drive around the city.

They carried a general conversation, talking about things they both had a mutual interest in, music, reading, writing.  discovered that Lili was huge into videogames, especially story based ones.

Lili was a largely extroverted, sweet and kind person, but could easily say bad things under pressure. Y/N recalls one time she got into a fight with a girl at school, and it apparently got so bad the girl withdrew from the school the next day.

"We're here~ Man, this arcade has always been so huge and colourful!"

They both got out of the vehicle and stepped outside, and Y/N immediately noted three new faces.

"Guys, I brought Y/N!"

"Lili, seriously?!"

"C'mon, Nick, grow a pair. They're cool ."

"Who are the new guys?"

"Oh, don't worry, they'll introduce themselves, right guys?"

"Fuck you." said a boy with a vaguely french accent.

"Rude."
