Once we had pulled up in front of their mansion, my eyes had widened and my jaw dropped. 'Holy shit.', I thought. Yes, my family was fairly wealthy but we'd never be able to get something like this. I climbed out of the car and my eyes roamed over the huge building right in front of me. All of a sudden, I heard squealing. It was coming towards me and I already knew who it was. Mia. Grace had told me a bit about all of them before I moved in, so I had a few facts in my mind.
As Mia engulfed me in a (really) tight hug, Elliot came out with his father, Carrick. Soon enough, I was being suffocated by arms wrapped around me and various colognes and perfumes. As they pulled away, Elliot grabbed my bags. I thought I was the assistant here. Everybody had came to hug me except Christian. He stood at the door way and stared at me. Hard. I acted as if I didn't see him at all and I walked in beside Mia as she said things to calm down such as, 'We won't treat you like a maid! You're just a new friend to the family who helps with extra cleaning!' Or 'Think of it as a vacation, a vacation that includes a little more work.'
Elliot had brought my bags up to my room and I thanked him, closing the door once he left. The room was...wow. The walls had been painted a pastel blue color and had a walk in closet. My bed had been placed in between my window and closet. It was a king size bed which made me giggle due to the fact that I'm as tiny as can be. It had white sheets with a peach colored duvet and the pillow cases were varied in between white and peach. I knew Mia had decorated it. My closet was full which made my eyes widen once again. I ran my hand across the designer outfits and finally snapped back to reality once I heard a knock on my door. I quickly placed my suitcases in my closet and peeled off my jacket, tossing it onto my bed before I answered, "Come in." Then I heard it.
That deep, smooth voice.
Christian.
