Long ago, on the battlefields of the Great War...

A Female Skeleton, named Arial, and her lover, W.D Gaster, protect their younglings, Sans, a two year old at best, and Papyrus, a newborn skeleton born mere days before all of this genocidal war broke out between the two races.

"Gaster, I need you to get the boys out of here! I'll meet you in the Underground. I promise!" Arial shouted, blocking attacks from the boys left and right. "We won't leave without you!" Gaster yelled back, firing his signature move, the Gaster Blaster, at a group of humans.

"There isn't time for sentimentality, the humans that agreed to lock us down in the Underground are about to lock down the place. I'll hold them all off before teleporting into the Underground last second. It's a sound plan. Now get out of here while you can. If you don't, i'll teleport me and the boys there and leave you up here." Arial joked. Gaster sighed, knowing she was joking but didn't want to chance it in case she wasn't.

Grabbing both of his boys in his arms, he bolted towards the solemn opening to the Underground, summoning a blaster to protect them as he ran for dear life. He jumped down into the underground. "Tuck and roll..." he thought to himself. As if he told his muscles to do so, they tucked and rolled the instant he thought of it.

"A sound landing from Gaster!" King Asgore cheered! applauses could be heard from the crowd of monsters, looking at the gaping hole that lead down into the Underground, anxiously awaiting the King and Queen's warnings. "Wait, Gaster, where is Arial and the boys?" Queen Toriel asked as Gaster got up.

Gaster untucked his arms to reveal two babybones skeletons. "Thank goodness. And Arial?" Toriel questioned him. Gaster looked up at the surface and the back towards with a saddened look on his face. "I am truly sorry to inform you... She has decided to hold off the human armada until the last second." Gaster looked away as he said this.

"I'm not surprised. This is why she's going to be the first captain of the Royal Guard. Her bravery is an inspiration to all of us during these hard times..." Asgore said. Turning to look up at the hole one last time, awaiting her arrival.

Arial dodged an attack from one of the Humans. "That was too close for comfort" she whispered to herself. Her eyes flared a bright color for a bit as she spawned waves upon waves of bones. Humans were knocked on the ground left and right. "Stay down you blood thirsty pigs!" She yelled as she ducked and weaved her way to victory.

"As long as i'm over here you aren't getting through to us! Never! I'm not giving up that easily." She stated, fearlessly. She then, out if nowhere, found herself surrounded by a giant hoard of Humans, all dashing towards her. Her eyes lit up once again for a second, giving her a surge of power. The adrenaline rush was all she needed.

Just like that! And now she was fighting like never before. Jump up, impale this person, jump off their back midair, twist into a kick, Fire bones in a direction! She was going off, and without breaking a sweat. Is this the what the raw power of a true hero? Someone who would stand in tall when faced with fear and spit in it's face to protect others?

She vanquished the Human armies. One by one, they were going down and there wasn't a damn thing they could do to stop it. Until she got hit... Blood pouring down from her chest... The humans thought they had finally defeated their one threat to demolishing Monster-kind, when...

"I could do this dance all day." She whispered to herself. She cleaned up the wound with a quick wipe, relocated he shoulder blade, and got back into the heat of the battle.

If the Humans thought they could defeat me, they were damn fools. She stepped back, allowing then to come closer. However, when they did, they were met with the unfortunate fate of a bone to the head. She rushed into the now slightly smaller hoard of Humans. She equipped sharpened bones in both hands. Hand to hand combat was kind of a specialty for her.
