The news of Liliana Wilkinson's sudden death shocked her loved ones. It seemed like some bad joke or nightmare they would wake up from.

However, that didn't happen. The painful reality reappeared.

First Jikyo, then Liliana. Death had taken them too suddenly, too unexpectedly... Too soon. They could've done much more, but it was clearly not their destiny.

Little Benjamin was taken into the care of Andre and Jade. The boy couldn't understand why both of his parents were taken away from him. Why did this happen to him? Why now, when he wasn't ready yet? There was so much he wanted to do with them. There was so much he wanted to show them and learn.

Now all those dreams are gone.

He was just a kid, and kids need parents. Their presence, their warm hands that embraced them so willingly. Their love...

It's unfair. Life is unfair.

Life is a gift? Maybe that's how it is for some people.

For others, it is hell. A fight for survival that must be won somehow. Or lose? After all, not everyone will be able to reach the finish line in glory and with medals hanging around their necks. Not everyone is so lucky.

Death is so sudden. Fast and silent. It only takes a moment and it takes all the people we love. We can't stop it, we can't argue with it or ask for mercy. Death simply is and always will be, whether we like it or not. Whether we are ready for it or not... Eventually, that moment will come. Sooner or later. At night or day.

Will it be painful? I don't know.

Lily and Jikyo died as they lived... Together.

Until death parted them... And then brought them back together again.

Yes, we have just come to the end of this book. It's a pretty sad ending, but that's how it was meant to be. From the very beginning of planning this, I knew, who would die and who would survive.

What do you think? Did you like the book? Did you expect such an ending?

And I would like to add, at the end, that there'll also be an additional book soon, telling the story of Liliana and Jikyo just before what happened here. It will be titled "Call Me Lily". I hope you like it, and I hope you liked somehow this story too.

Thank you for your presence, all the nice comments, stars and messages. It really means a lot to me, thank you again!

I also gave you a link to a song. It helped and inspired me while writing and beyond. I found this song recently too, and I think it fits the book as well. Link below:

Have a nice day/evening!
