Chapter four

The unforgotten moment

Vio's pov
i ran from my room i ran from the castle i ran from hyrule. i didmt want to be there i didnt want to be anywhere.

i sat under the nearest tree in hyrule field and cried. why? why would my boyfriend-ex boyfriend cheat on me for a girl?! he said he was gay like me! that lying bastard!! i loved him i gave him everything and this is how he repays me?

the tears from my eyes wouldnt stop coming... i didnt want anything to be worse... and i expected it to be worse when Shadow showed up.

With his cocky grin he strutted up to just to see that im crying. his eyes softened and to my surprise he... hugged me. his arms were so warm, i couldnt help but cuddle into his chest and cry.

we sat for about two hours not saying anything... but i liked it. i didnt want to return to hyrule castle right now i know Zelda would just yell at me.

i shivered, Shadow took notice and picked me up bridal style and started walking to hyrule castle.

"No... please. not there, not yet... im not ready. take me to your house." i whispered. oh dear what was i getting myself into.

"Alright." Shadow and i disappeared before reappearing in his house. he took me to his room and layed me on the bed. he started to leave... i didnt want him to leave... i needed someone... no i needed him, right now.

"Dont leave me..." i curled up under the blankets trying to comfort myself. "sleep with me...?" i didnt know what i wanted exactly but i knew it was him.

Shadow moved his lips next to my crisp ear. "I love you Violet link... your my favourite..."

"I know, i.... i just im not sure what i feel for you yet, but when i figure it out you'll be the first to know." i smiled weakly at him as he wiped away another stray tear with his thumb.

soon sleep took both of then.

Vio awoke from his previous state to find himself next to Shadow. it made him feel safer to know that he was protected by the warm arms of Shadow all night long.

'he is kinda cute...' Vio thought. 'hes really nice and sweet, he doesnt hurt any good people. would being with him really be all that bad?'

Vio's thoughts were inturrupted by the sound of Shadow sitting up and waking himself.

Vio found himself filling with bravery and fear at the same time as he mentally prepared himself for his next action.

"sorry i didnt take you home last night i meant to but i-" Shadow was cut off by Vio's lips pressing up against his.

they both were enjoying this wild kiss. Vio's hands snaked around Shadows neck and Shadow's hands found their way to Vio's waist.

They were perfectly in paradise. they belonged together. and it was then and there that vio realized it... realized that he loved the man before him.
