Silent eyes II Lo'ak

Chapter 4: Ao'nung

-First person (Ala'Seyia)-

The creeking sound kept getting closer to my family's Marui. It sounded like heavy footsteps, luckily everyone was asleep except me. So, me being the cool ass warrior I am, I get out of my sleeping bag to go see who or what is making the noise.

I walk out of the Marui and look to my left, nothing, then to my right I see someone. Ao'nung. Yup, the weird guy who wouldn't take his goo goo eyes off of me was coming to see me way past midnight.

I walked up to him before he could reach my family's Marui to avoid any extra noise. "Um, can I help you?" I say with an awkward tone to my voice.

"I know I introduced myself early, I'm Ao'nung. The guy you gave the cold shoulder too?" 

"Ya I know who you are numbnuts, but why are you here so god damn late?"

I hear a creak come from my Marui, I quickly grab him by the wrist and go to were the doc is.

   -

- First person (Lo'ak)-

It was way past midnight, and everyone was asleep. Tuk was cradled with mom and dad. Neteyam was Sprawled out with his hand practically in my face and Kiri was passed out. But where did Seyia go? She was here when I went to bed now she's gone.

My ears perk up at the sound of whispering. Oh that voice sounded so familiar. Ao'nung. Why the hell was he here so god damn late. I hear another familiar voice too. Seyia. 

I always knew she stayed up late. She loved staring at the stars and connecting them. But why the hell was Ao'nung with her?

-First person (Seyia)-

Ao'nung and I quickly made a dash for the docs. As soon as I got there I made him answer the question I asked previsouly, but with a bit of a harsher tone to it since not many homes were around us.

"I, um- well..." Ao'nung stuttered.

"Spit it out fish lips." I say with annoyance.

" I just wanted to make a re-introduction for myself since the first one didn't go quite as planned, I mean I am the chief's eldest son." He said while sucking in his gut and puffing out his chest to seem more fierce. 

"I really don't care what you're trying to get at, I'm going back to my Marui. Goodnight." I walk back to my Marui with each step ending in a big thump. I was annoyed. He really thought he could just come and watch me sleep or re-introduce himself to me in the middle of the night? What a creep. 

I get back to the Marui, only to see Lo'ak is wide awake. Even though Lo'ak and I have never really gotten along, he's always been jealous of me for some reason I'll never know, but in any ways, recently he started to get really protective over me. Like I was a 5 year old. This all started a year ago, when an older memeber, I'd say 16 maybe 17, of the Omaticayan clan started fliritng with me. It happened when I was 14 and all of the weird puberty stuff hit me.

Lo'ak noticed the guy making me uncomfortable and almost swung at him until Jake stepped in between the two of them.

Back to now, Lo'ak was sitting up in the criss cross position. He heard me come in and immediately tried to fake the fact he was sleeping.

I shook him on the shoulder, "Lo'ak, why are you up, stop faking the sleep act dumb ass."

Lo'ak sat up and looked right at me, "Don't call me a dumb ass, I'm sick of that shit Seyia."
